I had a pet turtle in my basement when I was younger. This book has many pictures of them which are pleasing to observe if you are a wildlife enthusiast.

It has a fun quiz at the end to see if you were paying attention with a few sample answers printed upside down if you don't have all day to write an essay in one of those blue books bought at the student bookstore.

I think the most important one to highlight is that it was asking why so many are in danger of extinction. Although the standard answer is due to human meddling (or I think it had something more PC, let me check what it said... "Because their habitats have been destroyed and they have been hunted too much" I misrecalled) but are people really that destructive?
