This is the third issue of AARDVARK, still Melbourne's only guide to contemporary architecture. AARDVARK3 features the best Melbourne architecture of the last ten years referenced by area and architect for your convenience. The professional profiles of the principals in the architectural practices represented and a representative bibliography of published material on the work of the practices are also included. The broad urban context of the vibrant contemporary Melbourne architectural scene is outlined in an essay from architectural educator Doug Evans. Important projects featured in the earlier editions of AARDVARK are placed in context by an essay from noted Melbourne architect and critic Norman Day. Included as part of the Guide is the AARDVARK CD-ROM which included more information than is able to be contained in the Guide Book, much of it in full color. Also included is the internet address of the AARDVARK Web site which allows the material to be accessed by computer from anywhere in the world.
