Esther Hicks is an American inspirational speaker and best-selling author. She has co-authored nine books with her husband Jerry Hicks, presents workshops on the Law of Attraction and appeared in the first release of the film The Secret. The Hickses' books, including the best-selling series The Law of Attraction, are — according to Esther Hicks — Channelled from a group of non-physical entities called Abraham (Hicks describes what she is doing as tapping into "infinite intelligence").

Esther Hicks was born in Coalville, Utah. She married her current husband, Jerry Hicks, in 1980 and has one daughter by her former marriage.

Any book Abraham creates, I read. Period

Okay so this book might trigger many people but tbh thats what truth does in general.
For me the metaphor that this life is working like a game, is the most accurate, and this book offers the rules to play with.
The rules, no one will teach you but that will enable absolute selfresponsibility and selfempowerement.
There are a few statements in this book that i have to chew on - and a few that really left me thinking for a while. But most of the times it felt like windows and doors opening in my brain and fresh air entering.
This is a book that explains how manifestation works and how we are -always- manifesting or lifes experience. Concious or not.
Most people are only passengers on their own journey. This book inspires you to become the driver and to stop just lazily floating around.
During the time that I have read the book I have kept my eyes open and have been astonished with my experiences in manifesting and how it allignes with what the book teaches.
Must read for every spiritual seeker (and yes I know Im actually very late to the party with this one)

Ein fantastisches Buch, das nur zu empfehlen ist!
Manch einem mag der Gedanke nicht gefallen, dass wir die vollkommenen Schöpfer unserer Realität sind, da viele glauben, ihr Leben liege nicht in ihrem Einflussbereich. Das Problem an einer solchen Denkweise ist, dass wir dadurch Verantwortung – und damit auch Macht – abgeben: die Macht, uns zum Besseren zu entwickeln.

In The Law of Attraction wird genau gezeigt, wie wir unsere Gedanken tatsächlich in die Realität umwandeln können.

This book is basically a few key informations being repeated over and over again with a touch of victim-blaming (honestly, saying victims don't exist and are cocreators of what happened... That's a bit... tasteless. I might understand what they tried to explain but the way it's said? It can definitely be triggering for victims and I'm not okay woth that)...

Don’t know what to think about this one yet. The translation in French has many errors which makes the reading painful but I didn’t know what the law of attraction was before and it gave me some interesting insight

Love, validation, the secret of eternal life will all be found in this book. What is the cost? Only your critical thinking skills. You must completely surrender yourself to your emotional guidance and let it show you the secrets of the universe. Esther Hicks channels this book (or as she would say, "receives" from a nonphysical perspective) from the group of entities collectively known as Abraham. They know what you want, everything that you desire, and they will tell you everything that will make you feel more at ease about this world around you. I highly recommend this book as the beginning of a serious delusion about the nature of reality, as you exchange actual reality with the one presented by Abraham. The upside? The belief that you are the creator of your reality. The downside? Immense guilt and self-blame for everything that is going wrong. Will this be the answer to all your questions? I've known plenty of Abers (an affectionate term used among people applying the principles of Abraham) and they have just as many problems as everyone else. The only difference is Abers are more guarded and defensive about their altered perception of the universe than most. Though, you will see similar delusions in other fundamental religions. If you continue on this path, be prepared to listen to many more CDs and youtube videos. They will help you in slowly letting go of that silly critical thinking and focusing on reality and you will open up to a new, better emotional thinking. Let this emotional snuff fill your mind and heart and control your life!

The Secret Behind the Secret may very well be the least researched interview I have ever watched. If you are looking to learn more about Jerry and Esther's past, this interview fails tremendously. If you are looking for an unbiased interviewer, it fails again.

Peter Beamish, the interviewer, obviously smitten with Esther, Jerry, and good old Abraham, asks the "hard" questions that have been asked of Jerry and Esther since they began this work in 1986. We vaguely understand that Jerry was a millionaire before this Abraham work, but hear nothing about how he was a crown level distributor at Amway, giving motivational seminars about Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich. We do not hear about Esther being raised in a Mormon community. Instead, all we hear are vague generalizations about their past. More was gotten out of Jerry and Esther in their interview from The Independent (a UK publication).

As for Abraham, they are in good form and give their circular responses and inspiring homilies straight through. And even with all the subjects covered within this DVD, it is likely that it will still leave you looking for more answers, even though it claims to have already given them to you.

Disclaimer: Watch this movie as you would Pirates of the Caribbean. Amazing as Johnny Depp may be, he is actually playing a character called Jack Sparrow, and it may very well appear at times that that character is speaking through him.

The secret behind the secret is that there is no real secret. The power of positive thought - is nothing new. However I am really doubtful that this is anything besides the typical wizardry that wows human beings - an age old trick. But if this helps people believe in their own power to be fulfilled - then it's done good.

Anyone interested in the law of attraction or in Abraham, this is a must. Again, this was better than any law of attraction book I've read. My husband enjoyed it so much, he stayed up all night and watched it as he was glued to the tv. Great to re-watch.

Der Mittelteil war mir etwas zu langatmig und zu viel Redundanz. Außerdem seitenweise Monolog. Sowas liest sich dann auch zäh. Das letzte Viertel (Abschnittsweises Wünchen) empfand ich als wirkliche Bereicherung und sofort umsetzbar.

Soul awakening! Esther, Abraham and Jerry demonstrate how anyone can channel and live a beautiful life full of complete bliss and wealth. If you still doubt your own power to manifest after watching this, you may need to check your pulse.
