I love how they have a date of death option on these profiles. Gives me hope I'll be reading great books in the great beyond.

Hi, I'm Kimber Chin.
I write contemporary romances based in the whacky world of business.

I'm a businessgal and I love it.
I always loved the zoo as a child and an office is, well, the human equivalent of a zoo. I could happily watch my coworkers interact all day.

Anyhoo... I'm supposed to make this profile all professional and stuff but I figure if you're reading my books, you have a sense of humor.

Meant to post this earlier, but hectic week, and then an early night so I could get up at 5 AM on Saturday. But here we are, at the end of the week, and I bring Flawless.

I usually say this every time, and I have to say it yet again. This is my fav Kimber Chin so far. I guess she does get better and better.

This story is about Tavos Santos, who sure need a bit of media training, and this Grace can give him. of course that is not the whole story. Grace is hiding because someone wants to kill her, and Tavos is not a stranger around death.

Tavos does say a certain word too much, but this he knows, and that is the point. What a potty mouth on that guy *shakes head*. Still I am drawn to him, he has this magnetic personality, raw. And I fall for him, hard. He is beyond alpha male.

Grace is sweet and totally weird. But then she is counting the hours she has left and she wants it live. I can respect that, and I love the way he falls for her.

Oh oh, gotta give you some quotes:
“Until he’s dead, I can’t ever live, can’t ever love.” A lover, a friend, even a pet, it was too risky. He would destroy anything she cared for. “What’s life without love?”

With that in the prologue the tone was set and I could not wait to see what happened.

This was a nice love story, she fell for him, and he thought she was too good for him. Btw loved the end, very sweet, the epilogue was my fav part I think. There is also the suspense element, and it does get pretty intense there for a moment.

There is also a bunch of people from previous books and stories that we get to meet again. I always enjoy that.

Ok love him, sighs, he was so grrr, Grace was such a loony sweetheart. I enjoyed reading about Marie and Carlos. It has the love, passion, and the suspense. I do think Kimber Chin has done it again, with creating this lovely novel.

Blodeuedd's Cover Corner: Very lovely, I read that the couple in the back is Marie and Carlos who has a thing going on in this book. I like the blue
Reason for Reading: The author sent this to me.
Final thoughts: Do you wanna see how many times f##k is used in a book, read this one ;)

I loved Invisible. When Kimber sent me a free copy of Flawless I downloaded and started reading. Just like in Invisible once I started I could not stop. It was a late night for me as I read until I finished. Now I have to go back and read again just to savor the story.

If you have read Invisible you will remember Tavos. He is a good man who has done really bad things for very good reasons. Because of his past he feels that no one could possible love him. Nor does he feel that he deserves to be loved. Grace thinks she is to blame for really bad acts that her father has committed. She thinks that her action caused her Mother's death. Her sociopath Father is being released from prison and she knows that he will kill her. Grace thinks that she deserves to die. When a friend (be sure to read Invisible) arranges for Grace and Tavos to meet the fun begins. He tries to protect her. She tries to love him. She is willing to die and he is determined to save her. No matter what Tavos says or does Grace manages to put a different spin on it.

Flawless is another fun book from Kimber Chin. Tavos and Grace are wonderful characters. Both are wounded making them just right for each other. Flawless is filled with action, tension and romance. Kimber has the ability to wrap all of that up and include a lot of humor.

I read this book last night and LOVED it. It was one of the most humorous books I have read in a long time. Be warned there is a LOT of swearing in this book.

First off I absolutely loved Grace. Her character was really fun to read and I totally understand her actions. I really liked how she tried to protect her loved ones and how she wanted to live her life to the fullest no matter how much time she had left. Her past really effected her in a way that I have never read before and that was really interesting to me.

on to Tavos.... Who couldn't love him. He was so sure no one could love him that Grace just completely blew his mind. That was cool. I loved how tough he was and how he softened for Grace. I found it hysterical that he keep saying he was a killer and he was so bad but Grace completely didn't believe him. Like Grace said, if he was so bad why did he keep telling her that. Real bad people don't warn ppl that they are bad. lol

The plot was a great mix of humor, sadness, action, and love. It really was a great read. I definitely recommend it.

This book started out with some promise. I was intrigued to see where it would take me. I was disappointed. The characters of Rayner, Tavos, Querida and Grace were not fully developed; there wasn't a backstory that would have given the characters a bit more edge/bite. I found the story to be a bit chaotic and haphazard.

However, I will give the book a rating of 2.5 for the following reasons:

1. The elements for a good story was there, just not properly executed.
2. The book was completed.
3. As an author / person it takes guts 'to put yourself out there' in terms of creativity and your craft for the literary public and avid book readers to digest.

I will be looking for more of Ms. Chin's books to see if I can better enjoy her craft.
