Well, my name is Ravyn Karasu. I chose the name for myself years ago as a play on words. Ravyn, as in the bird, raven, and Karasu after the Japanese word for crow. Get it? Even after all these years, I still enjoy the name.

I was born in Cape May, New Jersey on April 30, 1982. I knew I wanted to write stories since I was four years old and I’ve worked really hard my whole life to improve and become the best writer I could possibly be. It was my dream to be published and to publish many novels one day.

I published my debut novel "Akhetaten's Gates" in 2008, following up in 2014 with more titles.

I currently live in North Carolina where I am always working on something writing-related, be it artwork, writing, editing, researching, or brainstorming.

-----

I like to write in a plethora of different genres, including: Fantasy/Dark Fantasy, Emotional Drama, Historical Fiction, Romance/Erotica, Science Fiction, and really anything that comes to mind that I feel like writing.

I just loved this book, a story based on the SCP world that tells the story of Collin, who for his good or bad luck ends up as a class-D within the foundation, and will soon teach us a more human side of the creatures that hide there, grasping a certain affection with SCP-096, a short novel that interestingly mixes sweet moments, some humor and, clearly, drama.

For my part I recommend it, it respects realistic attitudes of the characters, in addition to trying to ensure that the actions within the story have logic, interesting personalities that make you become attached to the characters and that are not so descriptive to the point of boring , is a light and entertaining read.

It wasn't bad. I never thought I would feel bad for SCP-096, but this really humanized him. The only thing I really didn't like was that they made him speak, and I don't think that works well for the character.

If you're a fan of the SCP Foundation like me, this is worth checking out!

I enjoyed this book but I felt like it was lacking a little. It definitely should have been longer. Maybe it's just me but it seemed a bit rushed.
