Romeo's story is super 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶, romantic & even more drama filled with fast - paced, edge of your seat vampire action! Eve Vaughn knows how much we love our fave couple- (GianMarco & Maggie😘😍 ) because she included much more of their married life in this 📗 than the previous one, which was just thrilling! We also find out more about Adonis & Giovanni😎! Romeo & Christine are just wonderful & little Jaxson & Adrienne are too cute for words! So happy for their HEA👨👩👧👦💃On to Jagger's 📖🍷
I feel so bad for Dante, I'm know he will find his happy ending. Can't wait for that. Now Jagger didn't hold much interest for me. He seemed younger than, the author indicated his age to be. What he was 29 or 30 but he just seemed more like a teenager. Hopefully I can get a better feel for his character in this next book.
As this series continues the twists in the family get deeper. The turmoil in Dante alone is enough to break your heart. Romeo along with his brother deliver a story that is hard to put down.
This is my least favorite out of this series. The main plot driving the series is the mystery of the rogue supernatural and their leader. The main characters are the three strong leafs from the first book. The two following books just seem to be add-ons to the first. There's no passion, no heat. The relationship between Romeo and Christine just seems to be filler to the ongoing conflict and not separate in it's own right.
I would say 2.5 it was a quick read the language is a bit crude , but I based of the previous installments its way I expected Christine's and Romeo's story seemed to be a backdrop to the author setting up Dante's story an trying to get more plot tangents for the next book in the series.
I finished this book just so I wouldn't add to the DNF column. The sex scenes were drawn out and cheesy and the action scenes went too fast and lacked description. The characters were hollow. Although the author tried for the "troubled" character types, she never quite got it right.
It was better than I thought it would be. I do have to admit that everything seemed to go a little fast and sometimes things weren't that well explained. But this could also be because I didn't read the first two books. 3.5 stars.
I really liked this installment. I am totally in the dark about what is going on. The brothers can't figure it out either. Romeo is good. I just wish he had been a little nicer to Christine. Can't wait to find out what is going on.
