Rather spontaneously yesterday I decided I wanted to get my garden planted. Since I've just moved to an apartment with a balcony and no actual green space, I would need to plant everything in containers. I've done some reading on container gardens in the past but it has been awhile. I grabbed the few books we had that were currently on the shelf at the library to brush up on what I needed to know. This book is a quick read at a grand total of 96 pages, but it's packed full of essential information. I would consider buying an updated version with a bit more info on things like companion planting, which I did in two of my containers, tomatoes and basil together and rosemary and sage together in another. So, if you are looking for a basic book on container gardens, with lots of pretty pictures to inspire you and information on plants, everything from annuals to fruit trees, this may be the book for you.
