This catalogue accompanied the exhibition "Human= Aesthetics of a Carbon-Constrained Future" at the Firehouse Gallery in Burlington, Vermont, August 14-October 24, 2009. The show included work by 25 national and international artists, including Theo Jansen, Nancy Dwyer and Patrick Marold. This exhibition was an ambitious experiment in deploying the lens of contemporary art to help a community come to terms with the complex and sometimes contradictory decisions on the path towards a post-fossil fuel world.
