Too short for my liking. Should have made them work more for it, IMO. As it was three scenes sealed the deal which was kinda easy on both of them if we take into consideration 2 years heroes spent apart. Heroine comes uninvited to her ex-husband house which they used to share and asks him to help her through some psychological barriers she has in her head that stop her from opening up to her partners. Very strange move if you count how they have separated. Turns out her hidden motivation was making more sense and was a leading one. Hero is still sulking and wasn't in any happy relationship since heroine walked out on him but as he is a better man he "is not touching her in anger or revenge" and also finds out he is still not over her and can't keep her from his head or heart and it in his pants. For same reason it all ends so quickly. She asked for two days, he ordered four and ended it all in 1. Housekeeper is all too calm with what's going on in that house. :)
Divorcee and submissive Jessica McNeil is attempting a reconciliation with her dominant ex-husband Stephen. She is hopeful that he will forgive her for running away and jeopardizing their marriage. Without warning she turns up on his doorstep and puts herself at his mercy. Grudgingly Stephen lets her enter the house and gives her an ultimatum. She has to submit to him for four days to prove her serious intention. Starkly, Jessica begins to realise the emotional turmoil her dominant experienced at her sudden disappearance. But will she get a reprieve...
Jessica returns to her ex Dom/husband after running away because she was afraid of letting go emotionally. This time he's the one afraid of letting go. He pushes all her boundaries to test her resolve. But she is pretty determined to get Stephen back.
Loved this story even though I thought it to be a bit brutal in parts. Really had me cringing but she went back to her ex husband realising he was the only one who could give her what she wanted and needed
Perfect book to read if you like them short, hot and very sweet! Runaway wife returns to her Dom husband and begs to be taken back. Will true D/s shine above all? Can he swallow his pride? Read what happens!
Another really good book by Sierra Cartwright. Though I wouldn't call it a book more of a novela. A story of a love that never died but was lost and then found. Once she gets out of her own way then they can truly have the relationship they they both need and desire.
A story of going back for who you want. Married young, and not for very long, Jessica made a mistake when she walked out on Stephen. It just took her a little while to figure it out. Stephen had his heart broken, and is a little worried it could happen again.
I read this, and then I felt like I had read it before, but I hadn't, just the premise. It was short, it was just the one day, and it was to the point. What it was, it did well, and not anymore was needed!
This is a story of a woman who is woman enough to admit she screwed up and has come home to make it right. She is willing to do what her Master requires and it is clear throughout that he has missed her just as much as she missed him. Sweet and hot, just like I like 'em.
Returning to the one you love is never easy especially if you are the one that left. Now add to that the D/s dynamic? We know this will not be easy for either of them. More of a novella in length but enjoyable
