This book is more like a pamphlet than a book. It offers a series of recommendations intended to provide insight into how to succeed in a rapidly changing environment. It is a glorified list of sound bites, without much supporting evidence. Each page-long "chapter" would be good as a conversation starter in a book club. The book was published in 2008; I read it in 2025, much of the book and recommendations seem short-sighted and dated.

It is a booklet and therefore a fast read. Price Pritchett's writing is always thought provoking.
