Don't believe the other reviews. This book is one of best book to read gives advice, history, and step-by-step notes of making into the comic industry by the mouth of the creator and writers themselves if that's how far you wanna go. but I recommend other books from your book store or library to read along with because writing comic book, movie scripts, and video game plots, is a long process of coarse. Like a relationship, it takes time to get to know it and understand it.

A very nearly completely useless book which can't decide whether it's a history of comics or a basic introduction to making comics. The flaws in the book are especially apparent in comparison to Scott McCloud's Understanding Comics or Making Comics or, for younger readers, The Cartoonist's Workshop by Steve Marchant or Adventures in Cartooning by James Sturm.

Very outdated information but it's still a good book for learning the history of comics
