I like this book because it covers the various areas of the home - living room, bed and bath, and window treatments. There are several different kinds of pillows one can make, which are good projects on which to practice and something simple to enliven a room.

This volume has many useable projects to add some personal touches to your home. Original ideas for decorating.

The fabrics and some of the designs are dated but the concepts are useful. This teaches you how to sew for windows, bedding and bath, table and lamp coverings, pillows, chairs, and throws.
