Here comes the bride… But then someone died. Though she’s been enjoying life in her luxury travel camper, lottery winner and amateur sleuth, Tulia Blake, decides to take a brief vacation to experience city life in San Francisco.
She rents a lovely, pet-friendly hotel room and indulges in an evening of fine dining and fun that turns horrific when she discovers that the occupant in the adjacent room has been murdered.
The victim was a member of a bridal party and Tulia is convinced that the killer has to be someone else who is still in the building.
Unable to resist the urge to get to the bottom of the crime, Tulia foregoes her vacation experience and starts investigating, which only serves to bring her existence to the killer’s attention.
Can Tulia solve the crime and save the wedding? Find out in this exciting Cozy Mystery!
When Cozy Mystery author, Patti Benning, isn’t busy plotting the deaths of multiple fictitious characters, she loves to spend time hiking with her rescue dog, Max, who is her bestest writing buddy.
Patti loves to cook and the food in her books has been tried and tested in her very own kitchen. She’s technologically shy, and stays away from social media a great deal, because it makes her feel more awkward and introverted than meeting someone face to face.
Writing is the perfect job for her because in her books, she gets to explore all the topics she loves, food, animals, crafts and reading. She loves her readers dearly, and is thankful for the opportunity to share with them through her work.
The protagonist won the lottery, bought an expensive RV, and is traveling the U.S. with her African Grey Parrot for company. Everywhere they go, murder follows. And she’s drawn to it! She just can’t help herself! LOL! Short story. I recommend starting at the beginning of this series and read them in order.
Another will written travel murder mystery adventure thriller short story by Patti Benning (Rambling RV Cozy Mystery book five). Tulia is stopping in San Francisco for a few days. I wanted to take an RV trip when my wife and I retired. This is my RV trip. Happy reading in 2023
While reading always brings a sense of traveling to the protagonists territory this series does that and more. As Trulia travels to different states so does the reader, in this book of this creative series the reader joins her in California. And murder seems to travel with Trulia as well. The mystery is fun to solve and the characters engaging. Can’t wait to see where we’re going next!
In book 5, Tulia decides she needs to get out of the RV for a bit. She is in San Francisco and rents a posh hotel room that will allow her to bring her parrot. She meets the people in the room next door. They are the bride and groom and bridal party. On her first night, she hears voices next door but can't hear what they are saying. Next she hears a couple of thuds on the wall and thought about going over to see what was up but decided against it. She feels very bad when she discovers the next day that one of the wedding party has been killed. As hard as she tries to stay out of it, she just keep getting drug in deeper and deeper. With the help of Samuel, who showed up to spend time in the city with her, they solve the murder. They are also working now on trying to find her ex, who has left Michigan and is in search of her.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Tulia finally decided to treat herself to a fancy hotel stay and found just as much drama...and murder there as she did while hiking the hills, go figure right? And to make matters worse, Luis was being his usual jerky self and trying to find her. I could tell she was super relieved once Samuel agreed to meet up with her. Personally, I think they should just travel together since they enjoy each other's company, lol, but I'm sure they'll figure this out on their own someday! ;)
I was surprised at who the killer was and was happy for a not-quite-so-dangerous showdown with the killer where there were others around. Now Luis is the only thorn in Tulia's side, but maybe our bud Samuel can help. I definitely liked his idea at the end! Hope it works! Can't wait to borrow the next book!
Doing something different, Tulia's was looking forward to a Little luxury and relaxing in a hotel. Having the RV parked at a storage lot. She was amazed at the size of her hotel room, but most all the view from her balcony, of the Golden Gate Bridge! She was looking forward to exploring San Francisco. As she meet the wedding party that was staying on the same floor and the bride and her party. Little did Tulia's know at that time, where this would lead her. Samuel arrived just in time to help Tulia, because Luis could now be in San Francisco, Enjoy this cozy mystery and find out who is murdered, who done it and where is Luis?
Tulia and her RV find themselves in San Francisco on their next adventure. She discovers that hotels can be more luxurious than a RV which she thought was heavenly.
She cannot help but get involved when a murder takes place in the adjoining hotel room. Turns out the person was a member of a bridal party. Will she be able to save a wedding or will she become a victim when she gets too close?
Another great read by Patti Benning. Well written and keeps you guessing til the end.
I love Tulia and her travels. I kind of hope Tulia and Samuel end up together. Tulia is staying in a hotel for a bit and encounters some wild wedding party guests. She gets drawn into their drama and more drama with her ex boyfriend.. Hopefully she can stay ahead of him or Samuel can help get rid of him legally.
This fifth in the series is another fun read. Tulia has stopped in San Francisco and stays in a nice inner city hotel, parking the RV in a lot outside the city for the week. The day after checking in there is a murder in the room next door. From there the action picks up. A fun read and I look forward to the next book.
This was the 5th book in the Rambling RV Cozy mystery series. After spending so much time in her RV, Tulia decides to explore San Francisco by staying at an upscale hotel and experience some fine dining. While there, she meets gals from a wedding party staying in the next room. Later that evening one of them is found murdered in their room. Tulia just has to try to help investigate to find out who did it. Was it someone staying at the hotel and still there? Samuel tries to help her out too. Also, while checking with a friend from home, she learns that her ex, Luis, might have taken off to find her on his own. This was an enjoyable, quick read that had you wondering what was going to happen next. Now she needs to decide where to head off to next. And will Samuel still help her out with her issue with her ex boyfriend?
I am loving this new original series from one of my favorite authors. A fun trip across the United States with a little mystery thrown in. I can’t wait to see where she goes next!
A quick read mystery that leaves you wanting more.
Another great read! I love how the characters come together quickly and draw you in. This is a great, quickly read, series. Now, I am off to read the next one.
This one was a bit different than the others. I liked the slight deviation. I had narrowed it down to two suspects by the time the killer was revealed. I was so close to figuring it all out.
The Rambling Rv series is a fun little series on Kindle Unlimited. I am in book 5 and plan to continue. The travel helps keep the stories fresh, with enough carryover to help the story
Tulia has decided to take a break for her RV and stay a few nights in a luxury hotel in San Francisco. When a murder happens next door Tulia gets drawn in. I do love this series. Tulia is a great MC and I like her potential love interest Samuel. I also love the fact that she travels with her parrot. The book was a fun quick read.
Welcome to California! And of course a nice wedding party next to her. What could go wrong? And what about the ex boyfriend who wants $... well at least go drive across the Golden Gate Bridge. onto the next place...
We get a break from the RV as Tulia visits a swank motel, but she still can't escape the curse that follows her as another murder victim shows up in the room next door. Whodunit?
