He's been the bane of my existence since the day we met, so how did I wind up wearing his ring?

Charlie Jones is living her dream as the drummer for Steelwolf, one of the top rock bands in the country. But as the newest member of the band, and a woman, the scrutiny is endless. Steelwolf has had more than enough drama over the years and she's not planning to add to it, so she focuses solely on her career, pouring her heart into every beat.

Josh Harrison has everything he's ever wanted. He's been Steelwolf's manager since the beginning and they've been through it all. But he epically screwed up a few months ago. To get back in the band's good graces, he's agreed to do whatever they want, including being their lackey for the rest of the tour. Which means he'll be on a bus with the woman who's gotten under his skin since she walked into the studio two years ago.

She thinks he sees her as a gimmick to sell albums. His cockiness grates on her nerves. He thinks she's amazing. He craves her. But he has one rule: no hooking up with musicians, especially not a client. Now---somehow---she's in his bed, in Vegas, with a ring on her finger. And she's agreeing to stay married to him until the end of the tour.

When their fake marriage starts to look---and feel---all too real, Charlie must decide. Will she listen to her head and run? Or has the man who drives her crazy finally snared her heart?

USA Today Bestselling Author, Stephanie Kay has always loved a good romance, and she got hooked on the dirty ones at the tender age of 14, when she told her mother that if the cover wasn’t a bodice ripper, then there was no sex in the book. As an avid mystery reader, her mother never checked to see if Stephanie was lying. Twenty plus years later, Stephanie’s most prized possession is her Kindle, and she may have a Hallmark movie obsession.

She has called California, Maryland, and Rhode Island her home, but now lives in New Hampshire with her husband where she asks him incessant questions until he escapes to go hiking in the mountains. That’s the only time she can get him out of the house so she can get her writing in. Married couples shouldn’t both work from home!

Sports were never her thing, but after beta reading for another hockey author and buying NHL Game Center within one month of watching her first hockey game a few years ago, she dove into learning everything she could about the sport and the hot men that play it. Now she spends her spare time visiting hockey arenas in the name of research and loving every second of it.

The Rocker and The Manager

This is the first book I have read by this author is she now going on my list of rock romance authors to follow. Even though I didn’t read the first two books in this series…Yet!! I’ll be going back to read them now. This was Charlie and Josh’s story with Charlie being the drummer for the band Steelwolf and Josh was the manager of the band. All it took was one night in Vegas to end up in bed the next morning married. Everyone knew it was a big no-no to hook up with bandmates/managers but they agreed to stay married until after the tour.

I loved the banter amongst them and the steam was sizzling. I can’t wait for more to come in this series.

I received an ARC of Snared and I couldn’t put it down. This is the third book in the Steelwolf series, and it centers on the intense, evolving relationship between Charlie, the bands drummer, and Josh, the bands manager. It was great for me because Charlie is one of my favorite characters in the series, and Josh was my least favorite character in the series.
I’m not a huge romance reader but i loved this series and highly recommend it. The romance scenes are super steamy and realistic and the love stories in them all are absolutely y the opposite of cheesy. Great characters and great storylines. Read the series!!!
(Now i just need a prequel!)

As a fan of rockstar romances I jumped on this one the moment I read the synopsis. With its strong-willed female drummer, a manager trying to make amends, and its colorful and outspoken bandmates, Ms. Kay has crafted an entertaining tale of forbidden romance set in the world of rock music. A bit of angst, a lot of witty banter and steamy interludes, makes this a satisfying yet unexpected romance between two people trying hard to not give in to the attraction eating at them. When a morning after in Vegas leads to an out of the blue marriage, what started out as fake soon becomes all too real!

Charlie Jones is that rare female in the male-dominated world of drummers, a role she's honored to have. Past experiences as a bandmate have left her burned and desperate to be seen for her talent instead of her sex. Joining Steelwolf gives her just such an opportunity as her new bandmates treat her like one of the guys, engaging in playful banter and anointing her with a nickname. With the guys she gives as good as she gets, treating them like brothers in a connection that took on a familial feel. When it comes to band manager Josh, though...well, she definitely doesn’t feel brotherly around him. The moment these two meet there's sparks! There's a definite attraction that both try to ignore, but a stop in Vegas changes their lives irrevocably as what happens in Vegas won't stay in Vegas. Once the media learns about their "marriage" Charlie will need to decide whether to listen to her head or her heart as what was once fake soon becomes all too real. Charlie's a likable heroine, down to earth with tons of talent. She's a good fit with the other members of Steelwolf, easily engaging in playful banter that made her seem like one of the guys. She wants to be taken seriously as a drummer, have the focus be on her talent instead of her looks, and I rooted for her to achieve that desire as she truly earned it. She and Josh are a sizzling pair and I enjoyed seeing their connection grow with each turn of the page.

Josh Harrison, the smart and controlled manager to top rock band Steelwolf, messed up big time by letting a recent secret get out to the media. To make amends to the band he agrees to go on tour with them and do whatever they ask of him. It's a rocky journey for the arrogant manager, being given menial tasks, but it's even rockier being so close to the sizzling new drummer. Though there's a no-fraternization policy, Josh can't help being attracted to the sexy and talented Charlie. Up until now he's been able to keep his hands to himself...but being in close quarters with her makes it harder to ignore his desires. When the two of them blow up the internet with a wedding ring and a morning after in Vegas, Josh will have to prove what his heart has known all along...that he and Charlie are meant to be together.

Not having read the first two books in this series wasn't a detriment to enjoying this one. It was easy to see and feel the brotherly bond between the bandmates, seen in their witty banter and playful nicknames for each other. The rockstar world was realistically depicted, the highs and lows of fame, along with the pressure of reaching the top of the charts. The overall storyline of this installment was familiar though, has been done before, and I was left hoping for something more/something different from these two assertive characters. The connection between these two though was satisfying. Their connection crackled from the very start and I applaud Ms. Kay for making Josh work for his HEA in a journey that had a few bumps along the way but had a nice balance of steam and heart and soul! Along with the appealing main couple were the other bandmates of Steelwolf, sexy and larger than life men who playfully poked at one another. Among them, it was Jax who kept me smiling the most with his nicknames and outspoken nature. He's everything you hope to see in a rockstar and I look forward to seeing him take center stage in matters of the heart!

The Manager & The Drummer ... Blurring the lines

This is the third book in Stephanie Kay's rock series Steelwolf. SNARED is the story of the band's manager and their drummer. I loved this book; it can be read as a standalone as I have yet to read the first two. I did get a bit muddled at times with the nicknames, but I soon worked it out. I will say though, Stephanie writes an awesome rock romance, so I'll definitely be reading more.

One rule Josh Harrison has always adhered to is never get involved with a client, especially a member of the band he's managing. A rule that has been blurring ever since Charlie Jones was given the position as the band's new drummer. Charlie has become his obsession, and unknown to him, she feels exactly the same about him. They have an undeniable chemistry and attraction, and there's definitely plenty of steam between the sheets. How does an off-limits relationship turn into a marriage during a trip to Las Vegas? How will it affect the other band members?

SNARED was such an entertaining read. All the different personalities within the band, their crazy and hilarious banter, and Jax (OMG that man is the bomb - thank goodness I haven't missed his book), made this a hard book to put down. Stephanie Kay has just become one of my favourite rock authors. SNARED is an absolute MUST READ.

This is the first time I have read Stephanie Kay,this is also the 3rd book in the series so I haven't read book 1 and 2.
But it was fine and I was able to follow the story with no problems at all I understood what was happening and what had happened in previous books.Although I did get confused sometimes with the nicknames that were given to the band members it was a bit difficult for me to remember who was behind the nickname.
I did enjoy reading this book between Charlie the new drummer in the band Steelwolf and their manager Josh.
Josh has a bit of an obsession with Charlie he is clearly attracted to her and the feeling is mutual with Charlie.
But Charlie is off limits no fraternizing with band members is bad buisness...So how the hell did they end up married.!!!...you will have to read it to discover how these two become husband and wife...and what this will do to the dynamics of the band and how it effects the relationships.
So expect plenty of steam and a combustable attraction.
I also liked the band members and the different personalities and their banter with eachother it was entertaining and amusing..and the incite into rockstar life.
This is a very enjoyable story and written very well by Stephanie Kay.
Now I will have to read the first two books so I can keep this rockstar world going, and learn about the other band members.
fabulous book

I'm still very new to the Stephanie Kay world, and I'm not sure why, but at least I ended up reading another book of hers as I LOVED Snared a ton! I've read a lot of rockstar romance, but I have to say that I've not read too many between band members & managers, and I found I really loved that aspect as well. See, Josh manages the famous band Steelwolf, and has since the beginning, but recently he made a bad decision which landed him in the doghouse so now he has to go on tour with them as their lackey, and it's brought him in close proximity to Charlie, a woman he's been drawn to since she came on board. However, he has a rule to not go there, and yet, the heart wants what the heart wants so things are going to get dicey. Charlie is drawn to him as well but she also thinks that he doesn't see her as anything else but a gimmick, however, the sparks are flying between them. I was instantly captivated with this story from the jump, and it was easy to finish it in one sitting since I needed to see if they could get it together. And now I'm going to be reading the previous books in the series this weekend, and cannot wait for more by this author! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Charlie Jones is finally achieving her dreams as a drummer, the newest member of Steelwolf, a band that she’s loved since she was young. But being a female drummer comes with its challenges, including the fact that public perception skews towards thinking the worst of her. And, thanks to her last experience with a band and that manager, she’s a little leery of Steelwolf’s manager Josh. He’s always rubbed her the wrong way, and after his last screw-up landed him on the band’s bad side, he’s spending the whole tour with them.
It’s torture, and for Josh too. And not just because Jax, Tristan, and Bash are determined to make him really work for their forgiveness. But also because, despite the fact that he’s sworn he’d never get involved with the talent he manages, he’s having a very hard time ignoring the way he’s drawn to Charlie. Of course, waking up in Vegas and finding out that they’re now married doesn’t help the tension between them. Instead, when word gets out and he convinces her to keep up the pretense of happily married for a time, it ratchets up to the boiling point.
It doesn’t take long for lines to be crossed, and for their accidental turned pretending marriage to feel more and more real.
Snared is a fun read, and the inter-band relationship along with the fake relationship takes Charlie and Josh from sniping at each other to inseparable makes it hard to put down. This forced-proximity rockstar romance has plenty of drama and hella steam, and I’m excited to go back and read the previous installments of the series, as well as looking forward to Jax’s story, hopefully coming soon! Stephanie Kay has gained a new fan with Snared, and I expect that I’ll enjoy the rest of the Steelwolf series just as much.

I got an ARC, and like the other Steelwolf books, I couldn't put this one down from page 1. I love the slow builds, the "sneaks up on you and smacks you in the face," and I especially love the "I just can't hold out any longer." Stephanie built all that plus all the steam, drama, and Jax antics you could ever want and ask for! Jax being Jax 100% tried to steal the show (AND all the credit haha), and his fall and HEA is going to be EPIC, but Charlie and Josh did their best to stay in the shadows on the DL. A few surprises made this even better and showed Charlie that Josh really was all in. Loved it!

This is the third book in this incredible series, and this is Charlie and Josh’s story. Charlie is living her dream as drummer for rock band Steelwolf, and Josh is the bands manager, who has a strict no fraternizing with the client’s policy. These two are attracted to each other, and when they end up in Vegas and married, they agree to stay that way until the end of the tour. This is a well written story which has combustible and undeniable chemistry, romance, witty banter, humor, emotions, and love, which leads to a steamy and entertaining page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

He met his match

One too drunken night and enemies-to-lovers and a HEA ensues.
Gosh this was a fun rollercoaster ride and the chemistry between Josh & Charlie was off the charts. Josh crushed on Charlie as soon as he met her but despite trying to distance himself from her is drawn to her on a visceral level. As a female drummer in a male dominant field Charlie struggles to find comfort in her role and subsequently the band. She's a kick-rear heroine and seeing the glimpses that Josh can't get enough of her are endearing. Absolutely loved this book and also enjoyed reading more about the previous couples and what they've been up to.

If you love strong, talented women you will LOVE this latest book in The Steelwolf series by Stephanie Kay. This is the story of Charlie Jones, the new drummer for
the mega popular band Steelwolf! She’s been hammered by the media since she snared this gig, and things have just started to smooth over and the guys have her back. All’s good until a trip to Vegas. Apparently the adage “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas”, doesn’t always hold true!
An enthralling look inside the life of a rockstar on the road and the ever present media speculation!

Who doesn’t love a great rocker story and Snared the third book in the Steelwolf series was my fav so far,
Charlie the new drummer of the band may be living the dream but she knows what it has cost her to get here, band manager Josh is being made to go on tour due to a monumental mistake that caused one band member a lot of issues, Josh has always been attracted to Charlie but manages to keep his distant now on the road that is all about change, the connection was hot, the push and pull perfect the story a dream.

Best one in the series, I think. I do love the enemies to lovers trope, and this one had a good balance. I did become annoyed at how all the guys in the band disparaged Josh so completely, blaming him alone for the Vegas marriage, threatening him if he hurt Charlie, and not seeing that Josh felt pretty left out of the group when they always assumed the worst, not laying any responsibility on Charlie for doing the exact same thing. As much as this was about the unfair treatment of women in a male dominated industry, the guys were also being a bit sexist in not allowing her equal culpability.

This is the first book I've read in the series, but I wasn't lacking context. The band's friendships and personalities are clear from the get go and I didn't feel like I was wading in behind the curve.

What happens in Vegas, accidental marriage, marriage of convenience, and not quite enemies but not friends to lovers either. Charlie and Josh had an adorable journey to love!

I have to say, I developed a fondness for Jax, and I can't wait to read his story, my money's on Jax and Jules ;)

I am a HUGE fan of fake dating/marriage romances, and I loved having it mixed with the high paced rocker lifestyle that was shown in Snared. This book has it all- a great story, awesome characters, a fun and exciting premise, and MAJOR steam. I recommend you checking it out as soon as possible and give it 4.5 outta 5 stars!

PS: Thank you to Stephanie Kay and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for allowing me an advanced copy of the book to read and review honestly!

I just loved Josh- the poor guy was a train wreck and he made a couple of decisions or mistakes, for which I think the band was too much against him. But in the end he had his HEA.

I liked Charlie and the fact that she is a drummer in a male dominant music industry and she strong but there are times that she gets to question herself. It's not tiring and the author made it seem pretty real.

I loved the enemies (hidden) to lovers!!

Nice enough

But not much plot. I didn't like the way the band treated their manager. He didn't do anything wrong but he's portrayed like the bad guy. He was with them from the beginning and helped them get to the top yet they treated him terrible. He did nothing except watch over them. I read the first book and hated the way they treated Eve. They had no right. I just felt you were trying to make problems that weren't there. It ended ok.

Steelwolf is back. Jax being Jax tried to steal the show again. Can’t wait till his HEA comes along. It’s gonna be a riot.
Charlie and Josh were hot from the beginning. They had that angsty love that creeps up on them. Such a good story. You won’t be disappointed at all. Highly recommend this book.

I received an ARC of this book… and it delivered just what I needed - a fun story to get lost in so you don’t want to put it down and cannot wait for the next one! Charlie is badass with a vulnerability that most women should completely relate to, and Josh is exactly what she needs. Great book that definitely has me waiting to read Jax story next!

Charlie and Josh are hot together. They have many bumps, they have many misunderstandings, but when they finally give in to their wants and needs it is amazing. I loved this band, I loved their friends, and I enjoyed these two together. Josh looks out for Charlie, although he doesn't always do it the correct way, he tries. I enjoyed this story so much.

This was my first time reading a book by this author, and it did not disappoint. While it is the third in the series, it can be read as standalone.

Josh was a grumpy band manager for Steelwolf while Charlie was the drummer. It was obvious he had a thing for her, but he didn’t act on it. The reason he didn’t was actually sweet of him; he put her before his own wants/feelings.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, they end up married, and the chemistry between Josh and Charlie is very obvious. Also, the banter between Charlie’s band mates was great!

This has to be my favourite rockstar romance I’ve ever read! The characters have just the right balance of flaw and likability. Their vulnerability makes it feel like you’re peering into real life. The secondary characters add plenty of amusement and enrich the story. Hands down a book I’ll read again, and I don’t often re-read books.
