It’s The Life We Live

While serving time at Beaumont Penitentiary, DC natives, Luther `Khadafi' Fuller, Antonio `Ameen' Felder, Vernon `Boo' Dammons and Harold `Umar' Howard's friendship grew into a kinship. When a murder takes place at the prison, all four men are immediately swooped up and detained. It soon becomes evident that all the men will be held accountable, unless one was willing to turn on the others. Ameen was already facing a heavy load, while the others were looking to walk in a matter of months. Out of love and loyalty for his brothers, he threw himself on the sword. His only request being that they remember the ultimate sacrifice he'd made for them.

Khadafi is the first of three to gain his freedom. Clearly incarceration did very little to detour his wrong doings, as within moments of his release, the same wild dude that he once was, proved to be an unchanged man. Gun in hand, ski mask on, with the aid of his uncle, Marquette, Khadafi was terrorizing the streets of DC again. With Boo and Umar at his side, Khadafi is ready for anything. That is until the hunter becomes the hunted.

`The Ultimate Sacrifice' written by Anthony Fields is over stimulating mentally, physically and emotionally from start to finish. With an overflow of sex, bloodshed and betrayal, you're in for one bumpy ride as friendship, love and sanity are tested. Readers who are passionate about what they do, are lunchin' (DC slang), if they haven't added `The Ultimate Sacrifice' to their to be read pile.

P.S. Ant, I need another reservation and real soon!

Interesting story!

The Ultimate Sacrifice by Anthony Fields is a good read. Anthony Fields did a good job. It's well written and well vibe.

I'm not going to say to much for this book. This book is dealing with chess game and 48 Laws of Power. He also bring out with the book of Genius and Bible in this book.

My both jobs will not allow me to bring this book to read at work because they told me that it's not appropriate for me to reading this book at work.

Luther Fuller Jr. is a something else. Rest of the characters are crazy like him. This book deserves 5 stars and plus. I can't believe two authors will not give him credits but I will not say the their name.

Anthony Field will definitely have my support. I will continue to read more books from him. I want to read more crazy and Mr. Fuller.

Good read!

Anthony Fields does an excellent job of showing you the behavior , of good , bad and evil. When your intentions are all good for the people you love , but the forces behind the realities are greater than the Ultimate Sacrifice. Khadifi, Ameen , Umar , Boo, Marquette and Money are some brothers who show you a thing or too about sacrifices. Can't wait for the sequel defintely worthy of a 2 B continue...........

Take Care of My Family!!!!

Antonio aka Ameen makes the ultimate sacrifice when he takes a murder charge that can result in a lifetime sentence but will also ensure freedom to the other members of his incarcerated crew. Ameen has just one simple request of Khadafi, Boo & Umar and that is that they take care of his family upon their release. Not to mention the crew should always abide by the codes of the street with the most important code being death before dishonor.

Inspired by Ameen forgoing his freedom Khadafi the first of the trio to be released hits the ground running; making power moves to ensure that his boys coming home and the one they left behind will be well taken care of. Khadafi is a beast in the streets and although he adopted the Muslim faith while incarcerated it’s clearly his former persona that is now terrorizing the D.C.!

With the help of his uncle Marquette Khadafi is able to quickly get his weight up but once Boo is released he really has a ride or die homie in his corner that is down for whatever. By the time Umar comes home the crew is eating lovely and promises that they made to Ameen are being fulfilled. But when one victim the crew laid down rises back up lines are crossed, loyalties will be tested, promises are broken and death may literally come for some of the crew before dishonor!

Author Anthony Fields’ The Ultimate Sacrifice is an example of street fiction at its finest. If it were just being judged on the basis of its excellent storylines and in depth character development it would garner five stars. But what helps Mr. Fields to stand out amongst many of his colleagues in the urban lit field is that he demonstrates that you can be grimy and grammatical! All while giving your readers an exceptional reading experience in every regard.

Death before Dishonor

Take care of my family. That’s all that Ameen asked of his friends Khadafi, Umar and Boo after copping to a murder, making the ultimate sacrifice.

However, making a promise and keeping a promise are not the same thing as all involved quickly find out.

I really liked the concept of THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE. Anthony Fields wrote a story featuring a menacing, manic mad man. Khadafi is a character readers won’t soon forget. Written with such ease, one can’t help but wonder how much of the author is in the character.

Propelled by violence, greed and betrayal, THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE is a quick and great read.

This story may be true to life, but I don’t know why anybody would want to make a book of all of the terrible things that he portrays

you won’t go wrong reading this book, you’ll enjoy it

I did enjoy this book. I always hate when women and children become casualties of war, especially children. A person have to be insane to look at a kid and kill them without remorse. So, I salute Umar for not taking the little boy’s life. I was saddened about Umar, I mean he didn’t get a chance to enjoy his freedom at all. He was the only one with potential. Ameen put him in a bad position. And Kadaifa was truly experiencing some mental issues. His uncle Marquette was a user, just reaping benefits off his nephew. I really wanted Ameen to get out of prison. Ameen was one of a kind, a true brother, to sacrifice his life for his 3 friends. Shawnay totally wrong for her acts with Kadaifa. To tell the truth, Ameen took that charge for nothing bc didn’t none of them accomplished nothing when they became free, they could’ve stayed in prison with Ameen, at least they would be alive.

Wondered why such a book got published before reading the biography of the author, since it was full of sex fantasies and sick behaviors. For sure, this society encourages inmates to read and write, learn something and better yet, to write their own thoughts. By that, people outside the walls get something to study and come out with possible measures.
Reading Death's Head in the mean time, as it's also full of sex fantasies, it's nature to compare the two. Death's Head is a military science fiction, written by a free man about a free man captured, saved and fought for freedom when he was a free man; You feeling light and happy. The Ultimate Sacrifice is on crime and inmates, written by an inmate about an inmate got released, committed more crimes and surrendered to jail again; You feeling dark and disappointed.
More creative thinking in Death's Head.

I Am My Brother’s Keeper

This is my first read from this author and I know it wont be my last. I truly enjoyed this novel and you are forewarned this novel is not for the weak at heart. The killing scenes are insane. I think they will have even the most hard core killer shaking their heads. I don’t even want to know how much if any is inspired by true events. Yes it’s that crazy. If you’re looking for a fast paced novel with lots of action and a good story line to go with it, this is the novel for you. It starts with the prologue and just keeps going uphill from there. You will be flipping pages to see what is going to happen next.

The meaning of the title in my thoughts took on many explanations (Loyalty being the biggest one of them all) and made it the perfect title for this book. . When Antonio “ Ameen” Felder does the unthinkable and takes the rap for a body so his friends/brothers can go free, he asks for one thing in return take care of his family. Luther “Khadafi” Fuller is the first out the federal pen. Khadafi come homes and takes care of obligation to Ameen and puts in work. He is the craziest out of the bunch; the hear term menace to society it describes him perfectly. Things really pick up when he breaks his oath and crosses lines. Vernon “Boo” Dammons is the second to be released from the fed as he joins Khadafi they become the two bringing the drama. The last piece is Harold “ Umar” Howard he also has debts to pay and struggles with his conscience but feels indebted. So he's trapped in this world and nothing can save him.

This novel is very entertaining. The editing is great and Mr. Fields is an excellent story teller. He has the knack, whatever that is. I will surely be on the lookout for him in the future. Thanks for an excellent read!

Friends, How Many of Us Have Them?

Anthony Fields' latest novel is based on a friendship tested by loyalty. One friend sacrifices his freedom on behalf of his friends and asks in return loyalty. Easier said than done.

It's very possible to find yourself shuddering, gasping and looking over your shoulder as you read the pages of "The Ultimate Sacrifice." Anthony turns the grit and grime all the way up. It features the sinister and unforgettable character Khadafi. Dude is like WHOA! It's a certain risk in casting a wilding out, over the top, ruthless character like him. If it works, the character carries the novel. If it doesn't, well... Anthony pulls off the feat effortlessly. His tale flows with a plot packed with violence and intrigue.

Anthony Fields, who earned praise with his first novel, "Angel," presented by Teri Woods, has the knack for weaving multi-layered plots, great characters and a vivid imagination.

"The Ultimate Sacrifice" is definitely recommended reading.

This book was great. I've read one other book by this author and was so happy to find that he actually was writing again. Anthony Fields books are for the faint at heart though. He introduces you to characters who take killing to a whole new level. When several friends get involved in a prison killing Ameen decides to cut his friends a break since he has more time to do than they do. With this all he ask is that they take care of his family. This is when the ultimate betrayal comes in and bullets start to fly. This book is about betrayal, love, honor and above all trust. You can't go wrong with an Anthony Fields novel.

Whew! This one was a PAGER TURNER, get it ya'll...awesome!!! The author is still on lockdown which clearly explains his ability to make this story leap off the pages and right into your lap. I found myself talking out loud, gasping, cringing, and not able to put this book down. When I was finished I sent the author a letter because I had to tell him how much I loved this book. This one rates high on my fav list!!!
