No attempt is made to form a coherent narrative of Madoc's supposed voyage. Various pieces of evidence are presented, but none are really connected to the other. There is an abundance of factual errors, both major and minor. Anyone not educated in archaeology who reads this and thinks critically will atleast think there is something odd about the Ancient Kentucke Historical Association's research methods. This book is a masterclass in confirmation bias, making very little attempt to examine the archeological record aside from the ooparts. If they did this, the case for Madoc would not be as cut and dry as they make it seem. Much of the information presented has since outright been proven wrong, and while there is no way Micheals could have known at the time of writing, the fact that the Ancient Kentucke Historical Association continues to use the same lines of evidence shows they have little to stand on.
