Took this book out of pure curiousity. Why does the software vendor use such a non distiguished name like SAS? It can be anything: SAS Hotel, SAS the scandivian airline, or the British elite soldier (?).
A friend and former colleague in Accenture is starting his new job in SAS. I remember everytime people asked he had to say, "I am working in SAS now, no..not the airline"..

The book is too basic. I have one unanswered question, so I should find another less dummy book for that.

Not for dummies!
Great book. It provides all the knowledge needed to translate unknown unknowns into known unknowns.
If you need to know what SAS is, this book is your best starting place. Even SAS recommends it as such.
Fluid and as easy as it could have been considering the subject matter.
