I enjoyed this devotion book. The writing was easy to read, which was helpful since I read it first thing in the morning. I appreciated that over the whole year, every book of the Bible was explored, some more briefly than others.
My main criticism is that the author would pick one verse out of a whole chapter to make her point when that was not the main point of the Scriptural text. As far as I recall, she didn't write anything contra-biblical, but she walked some fine lines with her eisegesis.
With all of that in mind, I would read another devotional that she wrote.
