It’s been a while since I’ve been in the ‘Lark Cove’ series, and I was excited to finally get to Aubrey’s story. It took me a minute to get back into this world but once I did it all came back to me. I love Aubrey. She’s such a boss. And Landon is a great partner for her in all ways!

Timeless is the last book in this series. It is actually a novella. A short story between Landon and Aubrey. I am so glad, Miss Perry giving her readers to get final closure for this series.
I love Landon. He is the ultimate safe harbor for independent woman. I love him. A man like him is rare commodity in real world. I think it was him who won my heart with this story.
Miss Perry as usuall a talented story teller.

this was such a cute novella to end the lark cove series but i’m really hoping that the beginning and ending are hinting that we’re getting a next gen with charlie 👀

Дуже довго її відкладала, бо не хотіла розлучатися з цими персонажами. Одна з кращих книжок в цій серії. Було шкода Обрі, бо всі хто з нею зустрічались хотіли її тільки через статки її родини, а не вона сама. Лендон наполегливо завойовував її та її довіру, і врешті в них все склалось добре.

Estuvo bonito pero hasta ahí, no tiene tanta profundidad y tal vez es porque está escrito para un formato corto.
Aubrey y Landon me gustaron, hicieron bonita pareja.
Y lo que más me gustó de ellos es que no intentaron cambiarse el uno del otro se aceptaron tal cual eran pero sobre todo que él no tenía masculinidad frágil.
No sé si este el final de la serie o continúe con Charlie o que diera pie para una serie spin off, aunque no me emociona tanto un libro de ella porque no me cae tan bien.

4.5 'Be real' Stars!
Oh, it feels great to be back in Lark Cove and with this amazing crew of beloved characters! What better way to start 2023, am I right? This series made me fall in love with Devney Perry's writing and I was all over the idea of knowing how Audrey and Landon fell in love.
These two! I loved their back and forth, their beautiful connection, their passionate chemistry and all those feels. I also loved getting more scenes with the rest of the characters. I missed them! And can we please talk about that ending in the bonus epilogue? Miss Perry I hope you write Charlie's story in the near future, 'cause I need it REALLY BAD!!

Timeless is a novella part of the Lark Cove series (it’s 4.5 in the series). We got a glimpse of the setup of Aubrey and Landon in the last book in the series, Tinsel, so it was fun to see their story and be back with these characters!
I especially loved that the prologue and epilogue are told through Charlie, which is Aubrey’s niece and the daughter of the couple of the very first book in the series. It was so fun to see her all grown up now and possibly getting a story one day too! 👀 I’m here for it if it ever happens! Lol Anyways, so Charlie (Logan & Thea’s daughter, from Tattered), her siblings and parents, and her aunt Aubrey with her husband and their children from New York are all at Lark Cove to spend time together when the story starts! Charlie has recently gone through a bad breakup and her aunt Aubrey tells her about the time her and Landon got together.
“It will happen when it’s supposed to happen. There’s no clock. Love is timeless.”
So chapter 1 jumps us to 9 years earlier with Aubrey and Landon’s romance starting. The story kicks off with a breakup, Aubrey is 35 and the CEO of her family’s multibillion-dollar corporation, Kendrick Enterprises. Her siblings have both found love: Logan (in Tattered) and Sofia (in Tinsel), but Aubrey is just focused on her work. Enter Landon to her life, a police officer who Aubrey first met when he was working on a case for her sister Sofia (we see this in Tinsel). He spent time and became friends with Sofia in her book but he has his sights set on Aubrey. I liked seeing Landon be the pursuer of Aubrey, he definitely has to work to get her attention and get her mind off work. This was super short and sweet, so fun to be back with these characters!

Well, shite. This book felt nostalgic.
To tell you that I'm addicted to this series was an understatement, I love this series so much. The whole 4 books probably safely tucked in the corner of my favorites shelf. When I binged read this series all the characters even appeared in my dreams, it was freaking crazy.
Ending the series with this book? It kind of soothes my tender heart.
But if I may be frank, it's not a good story. It was so mediocre and you might find the plot of this book in any other books out there. There was nothing special, the conflict was pretty much half-hearted and basically unnecessary. But since it's a novella, I can turn my eyes blind for a moment for all the things I've mentioned above. And it's Devney Perry, one of my favorite go-to romance novel last year (hope she'll stay as my favorite in this year), also the sex was hot.
Strangely, the character development was great. Landon is fucking charming- makes me want to put him in my pocket then bring him to my home so I can put him on my cabinet of book boyfriends 🤓. Aubrey was a boss bitch with strong head and mind also brilliant, she's fucking gorgeous. All I'm saying the characters were very much alive and consistent throughout the book.

Timeless is a novella that concludes the Lark Cove series. I read the first installment three years ago and then picked up this book without reading the others in the series. I think that is possibly the cause of my lack of connection with this story.

Timeless is one of my favourite Devney Perry books. The story was short and beautifully written, and I loved how Devney included Charlie’s point of view to introduce Aubrey’s story while also giving us a glimpse of Charlie’s life. I wish this book had been longer, but I also think it was perfect the way it was. This was not a small-town romance, and I loved how Devney wrote something different—like a city romance, if that’s even a thing. But Aubrey was never a small-town girl!
Aubrey Kendrick is a hard-working woman with a stubborn nature, just like Landon. She is a perfectionist to the core and always does her best to rise to new successes in her life. But being a woman in this cutthroat, male-dominated industry is hard, and she is challenged every step of the way. I liked how she never backed down from anything.
“It takes a strong man to love a Kendrick woman. Remember that, Charlie.”
Landon is such a sweet and thoughtful man. He is stubborn and challenging but also has so much patience when it comes to Aubrey. He was insistent on making her believe that there was more to them but also made sure she felt loved and enough every time. I liked how he always saw the real Aubrey and loved her—flaws and all.
“You’re on your knees but you own me. You like that, don’t you, sweetheart?”
The romance was so good. Landon is the perfect match for Aubrey. He challenges her, and she’s a woman who loves being challenged. Aubrey and Landon had instant attraction, but it was explored in a slow-burn and emotional way that made me love every moment of their story. The push and pull they shared, every altercation, every moment they couldn’t stop thinking about each other—all of it fuelled their love. Their chemistry was amazing, both physical and emotional, and that’s hard to achieve in books sometimes, let alone in a novella.
This was the perfect book to end the Lark Cove series. I had a great time with this series, and I am so happy for all the couples and the families they have built over the years. It’s a bittersweet feeling closing the last chapter of any series, but at least I had the chance to know these amazing characters, and I loved every second of it.
Also, Devney said she’s gonna write Charlie’s book?! And it’s gonna be the start of a new small-town romance series! I am so freaking excited because I have loved her character since she was a little girl in Tattered.

Dear Ms. Perry, Devney, if I may, I literally love you, but this was not it. The pacing was super slow, despite being a novella, so when the characters got together and said "I love you" it felt really sudden. And the theme regarding work being just as important as free/family time did not hit. Plus I miss the usual small-town setting you give us. Most of your books slay, so I forgive you for this, but dang :(

I loved loved loved a glimpse into Charlie as an adult. I want a series of the kids! 😂😂 however, I am SO glad the hunky nice Landon stole the hearts of Aubrey. I also want to just state it was nice that he was so real with her and helped her get past her insecurities of past relationships. Dream. Lovely ending of this series.

this was a unique story because it starts off with Charlie just finding out her boyfriend cheated on her - her failed relationship paralleled Aubrey’s life…and Aubrey told her the story of how hee and Landon met and fell in love.
I’m so happy we got to see Aubrey’s HEA!! Aubrey being a strong female CEO has been burned by past relationships and Landon is the perfect person to deal with her crazy busy life and simply be the strong foundation and someone she can trust.
I really loved Landon he was so obsessed with her Aubrey…one morning she woke up super early and went to her office to work and he went in there to just be near here. He slept on the couch while she worked …he never tried to change who she was…he was just always there to be with with her. 🥹
he’s also perfect cause while she controlled the boardroom he controlled the bedroom …see what i did there?😏
THEN WE GET TO THE BONUS EPILOGUE WITH CHARLIE AND OMGGGGGGG!!! What a wild surprise didn’t see that coming - im genuinely shooketh but in a good way…in a way that’s like…give me Charlie’s story now please and thank you!

I loved how realistic this was for Aubrey's character. I can see how her high power position would intimidate a lot of men and that they would not be able to handle dating her. I love that it was a cop that finally could. This was a great addition to the series but it has me wanting Charlie's story so bad! After reading her heartbreak and the reason for Aubrey to share her story, I can not wait to see what happens for Charlie.

Anyway I was looking to read this one for quite a bit, ’cause I loved Aubrey’s character since the first book of the series and, I’m a sucker for a girl boss heroine who’s a workaholic and has no time for dating or a relationship and then bam !! she meets the hero who’s so understanding and cute and that’s Logan for you mesdames et messieurs, he was just the perfect match for her.

Wow!!! I truly wasn’t expecting to fall in love with this book considering I’ve never really delved into this series; side note: you can read this book without having read the others. I LOVED seeing a Bosss female character; we don’t really get to see that very often in romance books. While I was happy to see a character like Aubrey, I was MELTING over Landon 🥰🥰🥰!! ALPHA LOVERS you will love Landon; his persistence is so HOTTTT!! Overall, this was a great read and a wonderful way to end the year if you choose to end it with these two craziesss 😂!

I won't say it because the book is not going to be released until the end of the month. I'll say it when it releases, but I have already let Devney know. 😅

So, I was a little confused when this book opened with Charlie. I was like, wait, I thought this was Aubrey's story. But I enjoyed that this was Aubrey telling her niece, who looks so much like her, the story of her heartbreak and happy ever after. This was cute, a little lacking in some areas, but overall, sweet. But the true reason for the 4 star? The potential of a book for Charlie!

I love how even in a room full of men who (are assholes) think she can't handle it she still has that confidence and proves them wrong!! Overall Aubrey is probably my favorite Kendrick child!!
𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐜𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧 OMG! This man is the definition of love and commitment!! I love how he doesn't want Aubrey to change just cause he said so I love how he supports Aubrey through everything!! And I love how even if they are in a fight he will still be there for her no matter what! this man was so easy to fall and I knew I would love him!!
𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤 I was so happy we got her POV for the 1st chapter and the last chapters!! And I do hope we get another novella on her story!! I feel like there is soooo much more to read about her!!

𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 I love this book so damn much!!! I do hope it was longer but it was good!! A good palette cleanser!! I also loved that we not only got the two mcs POVs but we also got Charlie's POV!! Honestly I love how Devney wrote this small novella and it was literally so cute. I also love how the dynamic of Aubrey and Landon developed and how they never asked either of them to change!! I do hope in the future Devney Writes a novella on Charlie's love life since we did get a snip pet of it in the last chapter!!!

A maneira perfeita de terminar a saga...com uma história de amor intemporal (timeless) 💜
A espera pela história da Aubrey valeu a pena, pois apesar de curta (como assim só temos isto deste casal! quero mais 🥹) a verdade é que tem os elementos perfeitos, é apaixonante.
O desenvolvimento da ação neste livro foi muito interessante pois ao começar no futuro podemos ver um pouco da próxima geração de Lark Cove e isso é impagável! Amei ver a Charlie adulta e a ligação com todos os habitantes desta vila incrível, com a sua família 💜
A história de amor da Aubrey e do Landon é espetacular, o modo como ele luta por ela sem a temer ou querer mudar é incomparável 🥹 ele não se assusta com o sucesso dela e dá-lhe força para ser ainda melhor - compreender isso não é fácil para alguém como a Aubrey mas quando aceita a realidade dos sentimentos que os une tudo se torna mais leve e feliz na sua vida. Um dos meus casais preferidos da saga!!!

I was ho hyped up for Aubrey & Landon's story ever since I read Sophia's book and I can definitely say that they were perfect for each other. He bought balance to her life and gave her the much needed stability. I loved Landon's pinning and how he was determined to make Aubrey feel happy and relaxed. Their were poles apart and came from different worlds but somehow still fit together. I just wish it was a longer book. I know this was just a novella but I would have loved to see more of them because the prologue and epilogue both were about their niece Charlie while parts of their story were just mentioned in them. Overall, I just didn't like the telling and not showing part but I still loved the couple!
