A monsterbook, written like a story with statblocks every couple of pages, and a bunch of crunch as an appendix. I thought it had nice flow and had a generally good feel of the warhammer universe, except the characters seemed like they were in a high fantasy sort of novel.
The whole thing crashed a lot of my view of the warhammer setting, hunting for dragons and big monsters is not my first thought to do in WHFRP. But if your campaign is missing this sort of thing, the book is for you.
It was a nice read (albeit expensive) for an rpg book, but I doubt I will ever use it for my games so purchase felt like a bit of a dud.
