Nice guide about American roadside tourist attractions (or tourist traps, more often than not). Considering this was released back in 1986 and that most of the attractions had already seen better days even back then, I guess most of them have disappeared by now. So take this for its historical value more than an actual travel guide, if you are into vintage kitsch American pop culture as much as I am. There's a strong acid humor on it which is almost necessary to deal with these topics so even if it's an in-depth guide it doesn't take itself too seriously, which I appreciate.

These kinds of books are catnip for me. I love reading about quirky aspects of American culture!
