Daddy lovers rejoice! Author C.B. Potts has devoted an entire collection to that rough and hunky older man who has earned his place in the long history of gay erotica. Whether he has hair gun-metal gray or lustrous white, the daddy possesses a charisma that drives younger men wild. Who else offers an embrace that promises to keep you warm, safe, and snug? Potts offers readers stirring stories featuring bikers, grease monkeys, soldiers, and even an alderman--all mature men more than willing to provide some much-needed experience to the young fellows who drop to their knees to idolize what the silver fox has learned over the years.
CB Potts is the author of Recovery, Recovery Ranch, and Gadarene (with Tina Anderson), and a bunch of other stuff. She writes from her home in the Adirondack mountains, splitting her time between fiction, marketing, and therapeutic humor. Find out more from her blog: cbpotts.livejournal.com
I have a big daddy fetish so this book is perfect for me. There were quite a bit of editing errors in this book but, otherwise, I found the majority of the stories to be really good! There was a variety of types of daddies and also writing styles, all of which were done with skill. I would love to see the author write a longer piece on Chance and Ricky (the pair in 'Nam).
C.B. Potts knocks the daddy thing right out of the box with this collection of hot stories about older men. Although a themed collection like this might sound samey after a while, Potts changes things up frequently, and she has some very well imagined and interesting variations on her theme. If the settings are stereotypically male, i.e. Vietnam War, boxing arena, cowboys ‘n’ tenderfeet, Potts execution is never less than great. Even if you don’t share this particular kink, you might just after reading these.
While there were a few stories in this book that didn't quite do it for me, the ones that I loved were just outstanding. Ms. Potts is just an amazing writer and her voice is so varied that I can't help but marvel at her skill. I think some of my friends who enjoy m/m might find this a bit too explicit in parts, but I'm telling them to try it anyway because some of these gems can't be missed.
