I highly recommend this book! I knew the twins and Ann Vitorovich herself, and the twins are an inspiration. They remained extremely funny even to old age and were very very smart. They loved to play twin jokes on people, and recounted so many stories of winning races by switching out, their "twin language" they grew extremely proficient in, and more.

It was funny to me to be reading about the author herself through her husband's perspective before they had married or even met, but the story as a whole is endearing and hopeful. The pictures of them all in the center of the book mean a lot to me, but are also a beautiful reminder that the story told it 100% truth, and gives faces to the names, bringing them to life.

I feel kind of weird rating and reviewing a nonfiction like this. I mean obviously my enjoyment of the story is not the most important thing, it is important to read about what people went through and how they survived these trying experiences. That being said, the writing was a little basic, probably better for a younger audience.

OK I'm Hoping this is the book I read; no information on a book can be annoying. :P If it IS about the Seventhday Adventist twin men who escape the iron curtain, totally tubular. :D
