Couple are married but things are not going well. They consider divorce. No cheating, other woman or man drama. They both talk about having compliments from opposite sex but not acting on it.
There are issues due to miscarriages a year ago I think it was.
No intimate details other than the Hero and heroine.
HEA.

I was worried reading the first few chapters and seeing what was happening between Damon and Audra! I wondered when they would realize that together, their love was stronger than the disappointments they had suffered! It is a good thing to have really good friends who see your struggles and instead of feeding dissolution of your relationship actually share how he/she and their spouses found therapeutic help to change the negative dynamics into a positive till death do us part dynamic!!!! There were hurt feelings in this story. Likewise there were misunderstandings especially where Audra and her eldest daughter was concerned and not to mention between she and Damon. Thankfully, their love for each other and their children plus an excellent therapist and family support from both sides helped them to weather the storm and prepared them for brighter days! I loved this story even if it had me weepy at certain parts on a sad and happy note! The bonus content was great too. I am anxious to see whose story we are blessed to read next. Great job Delaney and very well worth the wait for it to be released!!!!!
Yes, Audra's story is the answer to what not to do if you want to keep your husband, your man, or your significant other. Audra wrecked my nerves for most of this story, and I could almost understand Damon's point of view. Communication is the cornerstone of any marriage. Folks, you all have to talk. Audra's spent months longing for Damon when all she had to do was speak up. Damon allowed Audra enough leeway to wreck matters to a point of almost no return. Counseling was the key to get them over the blockage caused by their lack of communication. I wish more time was spent with mending instead of fighting. I enjoyed this story more in the middle than the first parts. The ending left me wanting more of the romantic parts than the initial picture of confusion. The rating for this storyline is 4.25 and still a must read.
I always like to read stories about married couples who encounter trouble and work through them. That’s what Audra was about. We meet Audra and Damon when they think their marriage is almost over. But then they decide to give their marriage another try. I like how the author wove in therapy and helped them remember why they married. And even though they are married, the passion was still there. Love the family stories from Ms. Diamond!
Whew Audra and Damon! I absolutely loved this book. It felt real, authentic and as a married woman I could definitely relate. It is amazing how the lack of communication coupled with tragic moments can create a huge rift between a couple who genuinely loves each other. I am so glad that Audra and Damon found their HEA. I wanted more on Rose and Ben hoping that the author will give us their story in the future.
Amazing, I always enjoy the author's writing and I thought the first two books were dynamic. This book had a lot of great advice to improve one's thinking. The positive action of attending therapy to better the relationship whether together or apart. The characters were very realistic and served to entertain, encourage and improve my thinking.
Audra Connor Foster has a successful mommy lifestyle blog. Her husband Damon is a retired baseball player who focuses on investments and licensing deals. The couple have three children, and have unfortunately hit a rough patch in their marriage. They are no longer sizzling in the bedroom.
Damon and Audra love each other. Audra’s favorite part about Damon’s body is his back, which is described as “the beauty of the quilt of muscles”. She thinks he is the most handsome man she laid eyes on. Damon thinks Audra is beautiful. He misses how she soothed him and gave him peace. Their courtship was so cute. They were playful and loving. Now they long for each other from afar. I wondered: what happened? I like the progression of the story from a low simmer to the boiling point. Once the “pot” boils over, things need to be addressed, for better or worse. One thing is for sure, this sexy couple is full of love and passion for each other and Ms. Diamond writes spicy scenes to prove it.
I enjoyed how Ms. Diamond brings this story together. She explores therapy in a way that is so realistic. Every couple can learn from this! I highly recommend this book!
I loved Audra and Damon’s story! Their main issue was that they forgot how to communicate through conversation. If they had just talked to each other about the way they were feeling, their issues could have been solved a lot sooner. I’m just glad they finally got the help they needed. Once they got back on track, it was on and popping, especially in the bedroom! Oh my Gawd! They burned it up! I especially liked the scene in the back seat of the car! I be loved the other two books in the series, but I think Audra is my favorite!! Thank you so much Delaney, for another great book!! You never disappoint!! ❤️🔥
Loved both Audra & Damon. They were both very relatable. Loved how the husband was the one to suggest counseling even though he normally was not a believer. He loved his wife & family enough to be willing to try anything to save them. Great conversations between them even with the hurt & pain the reader could feel. Always a fan of Delaney Diamond. She hooked me with An Unexpected Attraction. Been a fan ever since. Definitely recommend 👏🏽
I enjoyed the previous two stories in this series , but this one quickly became my favorite. Audra and Damon both dealing with sadness and pain from several miscarriages almost allowed it to destroy their marriage by not communicating and making assumptions. Watching them do the work to repair their marriage and get back to being a couple and not just parents was awesome. I recommend this book and this series.
This was a really good read! This entire series by Delaney Diamond, is really good! Audra and Damon are a married couple who run into problems that may lead to divorce. Thankfully, they both fight for their marriage and work to save it. I really enjoyed the dynamics between Audra, Damon and their family. The storyline is well written, the supporting characters definitely add to the story and this was a great book. Really enjoying this series and can’t wait for Bruno’s book.
This book was amazing. So well written. It was about Audra and Damon marriage, yes, but it was about so much more - relationships within families, how powerful our words can be, how losses and traumas present themselves differently for everyone. HIGHLY Recommend this book!!!!
This story lets you know that as long as there is love you fight until the end and that's what Audra and Damon did. Misunderstandings and lack of communication almost lead to the collapse of a marriage but they chose to fight. Anybody who has ever been or going thru this situation should read this book.
Omg!!! Why all the crap about designer this designer that. This book has over 2900 filler words. Just get to the story. Who cares what kind of floors they have. Crap. I am so disappointed. I couldn't finish this book from all the filler words. Unnecessary....
Delaney Diamond never disappoints. This was really a heartfelt story about reconnecting with the one you love. Damon and Audra loved each other but lost their way from tragedies and disappointments. They had to seek therapy in order to find their way back to each other. Kudos to Delaney on another amazing story.
Audra and Damon have drifted apart. When reading this book, you feel their pain as you watch them struggle to grapple with their new normal. Things get so bad until they discuss divorce. Gosh, discussing divorce takes a ripple effect through their home. Their kids and family feel the tension between the couple. Damon’s friend recommends counseling. The therapist made them do things together. They realized that they had lost touch with each other by focusing so much on their kids. They were also dealing with grief due to multiple pregnancy losses. Both of them were assuming things that just weren’t true. They were pouring from an empty cup. The therapist gave them tools to regroup and reconnect.
I loved this story because it dealt with real issues.
Who would've thought these two were end up in this predicament according to how they met, but hey you never know. You just hope and pray you get through it and I'm happy to say that I Thank God that troubles don't last always. I'm happy to say that seeking help was a very great idea. Loved how they came back to their union with each other. ReneeG
Sensational! I love Delaney’s work hard and I haven’t read a marriage in peril trope in a long while. I had to text a scene yesterday that made me laugh so hard…Damon is a trip! 😂 Very well done- snatch this up!
This book is very helpful to me. I am going to try some of the exercises with my husband. Communication & the small things makes a great marriage as shown in the book. All couples should read this.
I enjoyed this book. Audra and Damon are having marital issues. Divorce is looming in the horizon. They decide to see a therapist and things turn around. Great chemistry between them. Good tension that kept me engaged. Lovely ending.
This is a must read story! I love the introduction of therapy & the fact that it saved their marriage was a bonus! Audra & Damon fought for their love & family & won it all! Looking forward to papa Ben & Rose!
Just like the first 2 books in this series, this was good. This author always shows great character development, plot, storyline, and sex scenes. I recommend this series. Hopefully Benicio and Rose get a story.
Audra and Damon needed help if they were going to save their marriage she could see him pulling away but couldn't see she was rejecting Demon any time he reached out to her. I can't wait to see how Ben gets Rose back.
Audra and Damon's relationship had everything. Even when you thought it was the end was it really the end. Did these two have what it took to work through their relationship issues. Well done Delaney.
