The Freedom Federation is set to resume passenger flights cross country. When the first plane takes off, it is blown out of the sky by a red laser beam. The Warriors soon figure out that the Russians have developed this new death machine and are planning on taking over all of America now.

The author not only keeps the action flowing and the series pretty fresh, nineteen books in, but he shows a little sense of humor. The Russian military complex is located in Cincinnati. Home of the Reds anyway.

A pulp series that I read through junior high and high school. Even then, I knew it was a formulaic series, but it was fun to read and having found them recently in a box from my parents' house, I am thinking of reading them again.

Another post-apocalyptic adventure series. Quick and easy read. Recommended
