Mrs. Toggle’s beautiful blue shoe (Mrs. Toogle) by Robin Pulver-Hindi Language Translation by Arvind Gupta- Children’s Illustrated Colour Picture Book- The book narrates the story of Mrs. Toggle, a school teacher who wears beautiful blue shoes. In the School, she was in her room and could see the students playing kick-ball. Mrs. Toogle wished to kick the ball once. She came out and informed her desire to kick the ball. The students placed the ball before her. Mrs. Toogle attempted to kick the ball but she missed and fell on the ground while her blue shoe could be seen hanging on the branch of the tree. Now, the question was how her shoe could be brought down. Just then, the Principal of the school arrived. He suggested that the cat could be brought, given food to eat and she would climb the tree and drop the shoe on the ground. This idea did not work. One student suggested that a ladder is available in the school. Mr. Adam could bring the ladder, climb help them. The ladder was brought and Mrs. Toogle got her beautiful blue shoe back. Message- The school in a place where students enjoy in each situation. Coloured illustrations help the reader to relate to the story. I have read the Hindi language translation of this book.

This book is about a teacher who is wearing her favorite blue shoes when she goes out and joins her kids for recess. While playing kickball, she accidentally kicks off her shoe and it gets stuck in a tree. Her and the kids try multiple ways to get the shoe down. Eventually the janitor sees there's a problem and uses his ladder to get the shoe down.

I gave this book a 4 out of 5 because it's a great problem solving example and a cute book.

The adults in this book are idiots. I really wanted them to notice the nest in the shoe but they didn't.
