Kosugi is a part-time worker and his boss, Ogata, is nothing but nice. He's always unapproachable, mean, and strict. Meanwhile, his coworker, Kaminuma, has his eye on Kosugi, and somehow that seems to bother Ogata. Ogata plays his game too well, and he seems to be abusing his authority too much. Would this be considered a sexual harassment, or does he care about Kosugi?
I don't demand a mind-blowing plot when it comes to manga, but I *do* like a bit of character development. The personalities of the main characters are so bland that I didn't care if they ended up together or not - and in a one-shot title, you kinda(!) need that.
This is your standard, vanilla boy-meets-boy title nothing more, nothing less. The art is slightly above average, though.
it was mediocre enough for me to drop at 5 chapters which is surprising since I normally drop crappy manga at the first chapter. I think this manga was rather dangerously addicting for some dumb reason.................
1st. read: 9/23/10 This is a pure fluff and fun romance manga. Just watching Kosugi-kun's expressions was comical and entertaining enough for me. Ogata on the other hand is the perfect balance of stoicism to Kosugi's more warm and receptive personality. But don't be fooled Ogata has a dark sense of humor that takes pleasure in putting Kosugi on the spot. Then there's their mutual friend, Kaminuma; who never misses an opportunity to sexually harass Kosugi or try to make Ogata jealous.
The standard setup is still pretty strong in this title: employee falls for boss etc but I gave extra points to this title for the original setting - they work in customer service handling complaint calls etc - and the female side characters that actually have some substance. Plus the uke character has more unique reactions and stands up for himself.
