I love writing humor (often the inappropriate kind), happy endings (both kinds), and characters quirky enough to be called oddballs (because... balls). If you love your romance heavy on the comedy and feel-good vibes, visit mishabell.com and sign up for my newsletter.
Sextuplet and the City is more of comedy romance. Focus on comedy with toilet kind of jokes. I do not enjoy it. I was weary when I saw this book on my TBR. I am not a fan of Miss Bell comedy.
Surely enought it is sort of torture reading this book. I can not wait to move on to the next book.
As always, I loved the narration of both of these narrators. Ms. Mallon does a great job of bringing to life the spunky, quirkiness that is Lemon. Art’s voice is only heard in the epilogue, but what a great way to end the book, both the story and the audio. No matter what Mr. Arden does, I’ll listen to it.
Each of the Hyman sisters have an issue they live with and for Lemon, that’s smell. While I know there are those who live with such a problem and it’s not a laughing matter, Lemon’s story was filled with plenty of laughter and shenanigans. Of course, her family adds to it as well, as does a furry new pet and even a vacuum.
Art was the perfect counterpoint to Lemon as he quickly picked up on her struggles and was eager to set things right if he could. I loved how he helped to expand her sugar tooth in creative ways. He was just as fun as Lemon and sexy as all get out. We don’t have his point of view, but I’m going to believe that he fell fast and hard for her at first sight of her and her sniffing.
This is a fast paced read with some racy humor and wonderful characters even beyond the hero and heroine. The drama is pretty non-existent until the very end and is then quickly dealt with. Overall, this is a fun read, perfect for a summer indulgence.

DNF Details: How far did I get? 75 pages, which is 20% of the way into this nearly 400-page rom com. I skimmed ahead a little bit to see what was in store for me, and abandoned ship.
Why did I stop? It’s absurd, like absurd absurd. There is a fine line between hysterical and cringeworthy, and this went too far into the wrong side – for me. The ridiculousness might be exactly what some readers are looking for, because it certainly had me immersed and I was aghast in a horrified-laughter kind of way.
Was I enjoying it initially? I don’t even know how to answer that. I think so? This couple’s meet cute is… a lot… and I was definitely curious to see how things would play out. I love a good quirky rom com, and I could see myself enjoying others from this new-to-me author.
Would I finish this? I… don’t think so? You’d have to catch me in the right mood. I WOULD try another book by the author, and venture back into this if that one went smoother.
Who would I recommend this to? Rom com lovers willing to go on a wild ride. Anyone who needs a guaranteed laugh or at least a gasp or two. Maybe try the sample first and see how it goes, lol.
Audio Note: The narrators are why I took a chance on this one – Erin Mallon and Joe Arden in dual narration. I love both narrators, so I jumped at the chance to try this. And they do an excellent job. Their voices work well for the upbeat vibe, though I preferred Mallon to Arden in this one. The story itself is wildly inappropriate from start to (I assume) finish, so I wouldn’t recommend this for work. It’s saucy and dirty and fun, which works well in audio. I can’t say that I recommend the story, but Mallon is great in this.
These Hyman girls are so much fun to read about! I love how they all each have a quirkiness about them and they always find a hero who loves them even more for it.
Lemon's quirkiness is a super sensitive nose that has made it very hard for her to date. Men don't always smell the best, which is so true! She has become obsessed with a Russian ballet dancer to the point that she breaks a few laws to get close to an item of clothing of his so she can smell how stinky he is and get over her obsession. Things don't quite work out the way she thinks it will
Art, short for Artjoms, is the perfect man for Lemon. His first encounter with Lemon would have most men running far and fast. Not Art! He decides she'll make the perfect fake wife for his green card. Despite his request for a fake marriage, you could see the chemistry right from the start. What follows is a very humorous relationship growing at warp speed.
I just love Misha Bell's brand of humor. Some things are wildly over the top funny that always manages to make me blush, cringe, and laugh out loud. I'm always entertained!
Lemon's and Art's story was very sweet and extremely funny! This couple, having met under extremely curious circumstances, has a first date where Art makes her a proposition she cannot turn down. The story was written with comedic antidotes, loveable characters, and the antics of the Hyman family. Always entertaining and a pleasure to read. I recommend this story for those who need something light, but always well written with a HEA.
Misha Bell does it again, with a laugh-out-loud opening that takes romantic comedy and puts it on steroids. I laughed, I swooned, but by the end of Sextuplet and the City, I was left with that cheesy smile you get when a book leaves you feeling good long after reading The End.
Another story from one of the Hyman sisters. This time it's Lemon. An unconventional blogger (her family doesn't know about her work), she desperately needs a sponsor to continue doing what she loves. In addition, like her sisters, she has a characteristic of her own: her sense of smell is sharp beyond heights, and this makes her unable to maintain a relationship (some boyfriends stink more than others). Ever since she became obsessed with a certain ballet dancer she calls "The Russian", Lemon has come up with a plan to get rid of this obsession: try to smell his tights, realize that he stinks, and thus stop being a stalker. But the plan goes wrong. Art smells wonderful. In addition, he is a gentleman and a great cook. And Art proposes something to Lemon that is virtually impossible to refuse... 4 stars
I don’t even know what to say lol…. This was utterly rediculous… I stumbled across it as a free audio from my library and I really like the narrators…. But this is the silliest book I’ve ever read… not sure I’d recommend it unless you just want to laugh… lots of sex and the city mentions, her own Mr Big, a Russian ballet dancer, a heroine who is an identical sextuplet named Lemon who has an aversion to all smells …. I don’t have any more words about this, don’t read it lol 🙈

Sextuplet and the City de Misha Bell
Argumento:
DNF at 30%. I tried but I reached my limit. This is farcical and over the top in the worst way.
1. He catches her masturbating while sniffing his sports cup. (Not what it’s called but you get the idea). That was ridiculous and gross but I kept going.
2. She wears vibrating underwear during the above scene and he takes her remote for their first date and invites her to wear the underwear again. For someone so “sexually free” (she writes a masturbation blog that somehow makes her enough money she can live in NYC), she gets embarrassed easily and tries to wrestle the remote away from him during their date. It ends up with a bomb threat (ya, it’s ridiculous).
3. He asks her to marry him for a green card and offers her money. It was weird that she was way more excited about the money than the dude that she’s been attracted to forever.
It’s absurd and I’m just not super interested in continuing to read it.
On The Button! Shout out to all Romcom lovers – this romantic, comedic telling of the fourth Hyman [this surname!] sister is entertaining from page one. Sweet toothed Lemon is also afflicted with a hyper-sensitive sense of smell and plots with her sisters to sniff out her Russian / Latvian ballet dancer to hopefully get over her obsession with him. It all backfires and rolls to a disastrous Vegas trip with all the drunken shenanigans you could think of and then some. Would be lover, Art Skulme keeps up with all things Lemon every step of the way. Lemon jokes aside the man is incredible – gorgeous to look at and earns every title. Enter conversations from a pet chinchilla and a floor cleaner, and you have textbook Misha Bell writing that is filled with witty oneliners, intelligent conversations with animals and inanimate objects. Have I forgotten to tell you that there is another embarrassing scene with the parents? This is another five star winner from the Misha Bell team and makes for an easy, enjoyable and lighthearted read.
WARNING: FACIAL SORENESS FROM NON-STOP LAUGHTER GUARANTEED!!! 5 STARS***** This is a new record for me. Starting from page 3 of Chapter One, I could not stop laughing-out-loud from this amazing, wacky and extremely funny and hot book!!! 🤣 😁 "Sextuplet and the City" by Misha Bell (aka Anna Zaires and Dima Zales) is the story of Lemon Hyman aka "super sensitive nose extraordinaire", a m*********** blogger and Art, a hot, mouthwatering and all-time lovable ballet dancer. Believe me when I tell you this is a FANTASTIC book, filled with situations so crazy and hilariously funny, that you will not be able to stop yourself from finishing it, once you get your hands on it! I have a new favorite after reading this book :-) Just thinking about it, I start laughing again and again. Ahhhhh... I LOVE the Hyman family. They are so unique, quirky, lovable and so very, very FUNNY! Each of Misha Bell's books is different from one another, and each can be read as a Standalone, so no worries if you haven't read the other ones yet. Highly Recommended!!! ❤❤❤
There is no other words for this read other than its pure nuts! Seriously, the randomness of these characters had me going between disbelief as to what am I reading but also laughing!!!
We have Lemon Hyman who has super-sonic sense of smell who loves to self-pleasure, and smells has a lot to do with it. She finds herself obsessing over a male ballet dancer and decides to smell something of his in the hopes it revolts her - wrong! It does the opposite...
Let the madness continue ....
It's fun, seriously quirky, so out-there and has plenty of laughs! 3.5stars.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Adorable, silly, and so fun. That’s how I describe this story. This is my second book from Misha Bell. The first, her audiobook version of Hard Code. I loved Hard Code so much, I just had to apply for her ARC team! When I say this book is laugh-out-loud, I mean you will actually laugh out loud. So read this one in private if you don’t want anyone thinking you’re a crazy person who laughs randomly. Misha writes the most fun and engaging characters. They were well-developed, and the story flowed at a perfect pace. Lemon is so quirky, as is the rest of her family. Art was just as fun and incredibly sexy. Lemon’s shenanigans have him falling head over heels for her. Thank you, Misha Bell, for accepting me on your team, and gifting me this entertaining book in exchange for an honest review.
I’m so disappointed because this sounded so cute! I got almost an hour and half into the audiobook and HAD to stop. It’s so overly cringy its not even funny. Like it is tryin wear too hard to be funny to where it leaned too hard in the wrong direction. I would be interested in trying a different book from this author, and maybe its just the audio book that made it 100 times more cringe but this one was a definite no from me
The Hyman sisters never disappoint! Between the twins and the sextuplets there is always some shenanigans going on and it’s priceless. I love all of these books and how all of the sisters make an appearance at some point.
Sextuplet and the City By: Misha Bell Narrated by: Erin Mallon, Joe Arden
Once again, we are treated to a laugh out loud romance by Misha Bell. I cannot get enough of this crazy family! This story features Lemon, and no, we can't make the first name up! She is a blogger of sorts, with a crush on a Russian ballet dancer. Art. Caught in a compromising circumstance in his Vegas dressing room, Art blackmails her into being his fiance to allow him to get his visa. And our fun begins. Lemon's hysterical antics, from her crazy quirk for smells to naming her robovac, I was taken with her. She loves with her whole heart and had me smiling the entire listen. Art is so sweet! From the start of their "relationship", he accepts Lemon for every quirk she has, loves her family and fits in easily. The question is, does what happen in Vegas really stay in Vegas? Give this a listen when you need a spicy pick me up! You too will be in love!
Erin Mallon is just so good at telling stories. Her voices for each character, including a chinchilla and dishwasher are spot on and her comedic timing is the best! I love her, in everything she does and this is no exception. Add in Joe Arden as the book wraps up with Art's point of view, and we have a winning listen!
Audiobook 3.5 🌟 Erin Mallon and Joe Arden Joe Arden only has the Epilogue I really wish this Author would do a genuine dual POV
Lemon and Art
Fabio is back! 💕
Hard Code is still my absolute most favorite.
Art was Russian 🇷🇺 🙁 . Only for Misha Bell.... It was very difficult to appreciate a Russian Hero at this time. Very difficult. Although I was a big Baryshnikov fan back in the day. Baryshnikov supports Ukraine. 💪
Lemon Hyman has an extremely sensitive smell and an obsession with a male Russian Ballet dancer. She thinks that if she sneaks into his dressing room and smells his underwear the obsession will blow over and go away because of her aversion to most smells. However this plan backfires when she smells his dance belt and finds it 'divine'. She decides to masturbate in the dressing room and is caught by the object of her obsession Art who propositions her. He offers her money in exchange for her marrying him so that he may obtain a green card. The two of them go to Vegas and get drunk and break rule number one that is not to sleep together and both find themselves wanting more. They resist their attraction to one another because Art doesn't think that she has real feelings and Lemon doesn't think that Art would want her after dating sexy ballerina's. The two of them married in Vegas decide to hold a wedding reception with their close friends and family and the night before that give into their feelings for one another and sleep together. During the wedding though one of Art's exes tells Lemon that Art was married in Russia and that her marriage to him is a sham. She presents Lemon with what ends up being a fake wedding certificate and she leaves the reception and Art heartbroken over thinking that he didn't care about her. When she discovers it's a fake she finds Art and the two admit their feelings for each other their marriage now about love and not just a green card. I liked this book it was cute but there were parts that were just a bit too out there. Like smelling his dance belt and her masturbation blog and misadventures. I'm glad I read this though and thought that their relationship was cute and fun. I loved that they had 'Fluffer' the chinchilla as a pet and he seemed to prefer Art. I really liked the appearances of the other Hyman sisters, their significant others, their parents, and even Bella. I didn't love it as much as I loved 'Hard Code', 'Hard Ware', and 'Hard Byte' but I thought it was overall entertaining and would still recommend it to other Misha Bell fans.

Sextuplet and the City: Laugh-Out-Loud Fake Marriage - Misha Bell, Anna Zaires
Wonderful Fun, Romance and Yummy Feels
After matching up the first two Hymen twins and Olive (part of the sextuplets), it is time for Lemon (Thing 4 as her dad calls her) to find love. The author has once again taped into this zany family of twins, then sextuplet girls- each with their own “quirks” and several Russian and American males at their mercy, with great humor, some emotional pulls , crazy meet-cutes and awesome stories. Best part besides the HEA’s is the involvement of the many of the family and characters from the other books that get woven into the fun. The sexed up parents are so beyond embarrassing that they bring a lot of TMI and oops moments to add to the fun and chaos. Lemon is a blogger who writes about female solo pleasure advice and has been crushing on a certain Russian dancer that reminds her of Baryshnikov (thinking his Sex and the City season 6 role). Lemon is hyper sensitive to smells and odors and decides to sneak into said dancer’s dressing room to get a sniff of his undergarments. This is supposed to put her out of her crush misery thinking this sneaky sniff will turn her off, but of course life had other plans for Lemon and the dancer (Art). I also listened to the audiobook version which was narrated by the talented Erin Mallon and epilogue from Joe Arden. This had me doubling over with laughter and put a big smile on my face as the narrated version highlighted all the best parts of the story. This book is an awesome read and amazing audiobook for anyone who loves romance, fun, humor, some crazy situations and wants to just feel good even well after the HEA. Thank you again Misha and Anna!
Sex obsessed Lemon is olfactory challenged. Smells spall her. Her life is limited by the effects smells have on her. She is also obsessed with a Russian ballet dancer and wants to curtail her obsession by sniffing his under garment. Her stealth is not exactly effective. Art is an orphan raised in Russia and channeled into the ballet system because of his talent. Lemon is a comedic character. Art is a sympathetic character opening Lemon to his customs and culture. The absurdity of Lemons career and the situations she gets into brings on the laughs but the way Art shows his feelings is very touching. Lemon may be the last to figure out Arts true feelings. The Hyman parents are a hippy trip as are the communication with her sisters. The book is ridiculously funny. It’s not great literature but if you like over the top sexual talk, a romantic leading man, crazy mishaps, and a happily ever after. Read on. In spite of myself I’m addicted.
