Very short, but not for children. Strange. Like a memoir, but of someone not particularly likeable. Still, the cat did have some adventures, so, not a wasted half hour.
Snarky, distainful, I loved Belshazzar's voice in this book, though the story was much too short to actually be called a novel, it was a fun read. It was published in the 1970s and it made me wonder why there weren't more stories in a cat's voice.
