I really liked this (much too short) follow-up to the two previous OC Pride books. We get to see how Ryan and Jamie settle into their life together. The mix of Jamie (an ex-Marine) who still has problems expressing what he really wants and Ryan who takes the initiative with 'difficult talks' was great. There's a nice surprise at the end as well!

I loved the previous two books (Jumping the Fence and Crossing the Line) in this m/m romance series, but this short didn’t do much for me.

I don't understand why they couldn't get married. The impression, I have from this story, was that before the cruise, same-sex marriages were allowed in their state, but after the cruise they were abolished. I'm confused.

This was a sweet short story catching up with OC Pride couple Ryan and Jamie two years on.
