Ravyn has lived all over the western United States, and in a few exotic places like New Guinea and Singapore. Currently living in Utah, she is married with three grown children, and a fabulously fun, growing hoard of grandchildren.

Wow the suspense was what made this story . Jenna is hiding from her ex-husband he has had a brain injury and has turned violent, she meets Cole who is teaching a counter-terrorist seminar for Dallas’s military and law enforcement personnel , they have a hook up . Jenna steals something from Cole and he wants it back . What happens when he finds out why she took it ? I was gifted a copy and am voluntarily reviewing this book.

An excellent read!
Jenna (on the run from her divorced husband), Cole (anti-terrorism expert), and a strange yet lovely small town.
Action, romance, and steam well-blended with some serious aspects of the backgrounds of main characters.
(+ As you might expect from Ravyn, the intimate scenes are well-written!)

Steamy, steamy
This was totally remarkable and unexpected journey to read but the author wrote about how much action and suspense you have when reading.
I want a man like him. He needs to teach people how to be a better partner. I'm hooked on this author.😀🔥hot,hot.

A Must Read!
This is a wonderfully written book, it will hold your attention and keep you on the edge of your seat all the way through to the very last page! The characters of Cole and Jenna really come to life on the pages! I highly recommend this story!

Running from her now-insane ex-husband, Jenna spends the night at a hotel where she meets Cole Matheson, a very sexy consultant for the government who specializes in security. He's also something of a psychic. The attraction sparks and they spend two incredible nights together before Jenna steals off the second morning, taking his top-secret book about disguising your identity with her. But Cole isn't having the disappearing act. He wants a confrontation. So, using his psychic ability, he sends her to his hometown, Secret Haven, where he'll eventually meet up with her and work it out.
This was a pretty interesting book overall. Very much on the erotica side of romance, these characters were having steamy sex every other page. The two characters definitely had some excellent chemistry. I liked Cole and I've always liked psychic abilities in my heroes, but his ethics are a little shaky at times. I also had to question his inteligence and capability in his field of expertise when Jenna was resourceful and intelligent and I respected her up until the 88% mark when she had a completely unrealistic and outright child-like reaction to the revealing of Cole's psychic abilities. As he was anticipating total rejection, her "Cool! That is awesome!" was a bit of surprise. She's even more surprised to learn he was dumped over it and she says "Get real! What a wussy woman." It felt so out of character. In fact, much of the book sort of hits light-speed for their relationship when Cole arrives in Secret Haven. With hardly any getting to know each other, they're talking marriage within days.

Oh yeah!! This was a great steamy read ad a fantastic story!! Jenna is escaping and abusive situation and Cole is just the guy to help her!
Such a great story from beginning to end! It really had me interested from the start and I could even go along with the sci-fi element. I really enjoyed the touch of danger that brought the story together.
Great writing and really engaging characters. Loved the dynamic between all the characters.
Really hot scenes in the hotel room and later when they meet again. This is a really nice bubble bath read!

Excellent story especially for the lessons learned! Two things were very apparent in this story violence in marriage and traumatic injuries to the brain. Thank you for this book! I have read many of your books and this was awesome!There is hope for people who know where to go.
Now Jen and Cole's story was very good and the unusual feature made the story very interesting!

A nice quick read. I do like the whole I-need-to-protect-you-because-of-the-bad-man kind of book. I like how they met, makes a refreshing change. Very sexy

Really good romantic suspense with a touch of the paranormal. My favorite! The story was fast paced, with hot sex scenes, and a believable plot. 4.5 stars.

I voluntarily ARC for honest review. This storyline and characters are brilliant exquisitely well written and story is drama rom-com adventure provocative mystery and hot streamy explosives sex. I love and recommend this book to everyone. Gotta love a HOT YUMMY MILITARY MAN.
