This volume was a let down. It teetered on a possible plotline but ended up more of a filler story up until the end where a new story took over. Also I wanted to throw this volume when it had the Heaven horse scene.
I love how everyone was cheering on MaxubeX in different languages. It's creepy how some people are virtual and can't go in the real world. How many Manji brothers are there, seriously? “I am beyond sick of these stupid games.” Oh my gosh, Hevn's actually covering herself for once! Ginji, if you think that the microwave can make that disk into a bomb, why would you use it? It's sad how bad Ban is with money. If Ginji was in charge of their funds, he could take care of it better. Natsumi's pretty in the kimono. It's cute how much effort Shido goes to for Madoka, I ship it. I can't stand the stupid Kiriudo and how they fight with the Mariudo. It's so much dedication that Madoka waited so long for Shido, I love it! It's so hard for Ban and Ginji to get on the boat, for some reason.
The Infinity Fortress storyline finally ends. Yay! We get some brief character-based chapters and then a new storyline begins. The fan service, which had taken a back burner to all the fighting in the IF story, returns with a vengeance. While Get Backers isn't the best manga out there, it's got decent art and an appealing combination of comedy and drama. Fun stuff!
