Fire Hasha no Tsurugi (ファイアーエムブレム 覇者の剣, lit. Fire The Champion's Sword) is a Fire Emblem manga that depicts the adventures of Al, a young boy with a mysterious past. It is initially a side-story to Fire The Binding Blade, but it becomes more of an alternate retelling of the game's story from Volume 3 onwards.

📖 Manga Review | Fire Emblem (Vol. 8)
The battle to reclaim Eutria was intense! And for once, we get to see Al being serious while still being his usual reckless self 😂⚔️
The difference is that this time, his recklessness feels more controlled. He still charges into danger like Al, but he seems to have grown enough to know when to hold back and when to go all in. It was really satisfying to see how much he has developed throughout the series.
And honestly, the artwork keeps getting better and better. The character designs especially have improved so much. In the earlier volumes, some of the designs could look a little goofy at times, but now the art style has become much more polished and consistent.
The improved artwork also matches the darker direction of the story perfectly. As Bern becomes more aggressive and continues its attempt to conquer Elibe, the manga itself feels more serious and dramatic. The story has really grown from its earlier adventure-like feeling into something much more intense.
The battle for Eutria was a great reminder that this war is no longer just a small conflict between kingdoms. Bern's ambitions are getting bigger, the battles are becoming more brutal, and the stakes keep rising.
