Kitayama is very strong at trick writing but I find wildly fluxuates in his character writing, that being the case here where I think a lot of the tricks and premise are super solid but the characters didn't compel me that much. It's a shame for a premise thats this all out it doesn't do anything that absurd ultimately. Maybe I'm spoiled by Maijos style of maximalist writing, but I think a lot of his Kirigiri work is still more solid than this even in absurd factor, so I guess I'll chalk it up to writing evolution. Thanks to Mitsuda Madoy for the translation!
