Being the start of something more eventful and interesting, it doesn't really disappoint. However since it is the first part of 2, there really isn't much to say besides I wonder what will happen lol. I still find it very weird that the two sides were peaceful enough that Ikstova has never had anyone hijack their year end party like this lol, it's such a good opportunity but oh well, doesn't matter.
I did like the little side story at the end with Allison's father. It's everything we already knew but voiced through her father and Grandma Mut and I think it brings some sort of closure to the feelings he had towards his daughter but to his mission and country as well. I personally enjoyed that little snippet the most because it also reinforces how important his job was back then and how important Wil's job is in the current state of affairs now. It's a whole life of sacrifice after all. But at least he's still with Allison I guess haha.
