It's somewhere between 3.5 stars to 3.75 stars, it is a nice enough opener for a 'light novel' fantasy adventure series with elemental spirits and mages in it. I like it when we have a morally questionable male lead who killed about 10 people who are mind-controlled into being the human shield of the villains with only one reason: "They pointed their swords at me, they died" although I don't actually like now the supposedly powerful girl with the magical sword turns out (typically) useless in the story.

I hope there will be improvement in the next volume.

I imagine one would find Kaze no Stigma's first volume entertaining if it's main character, the callous and abrasive Kazuma, comes off as the battle-hardened manly man the story seems to assume he is. Personally, I find him irritating, and the fact that he has to neg his younger kid brother and his rival/potential love interest into competence just kinda sucks.

Era da una vita che volevo leggere questa novel, dato che, a suo tempo, l'anime mi piacque davvero molto.
So perfettamente che questo è solo il primo volume e che nei successivi scopriremo molto di più sia su Kazuma che sugli altri personaggi, eppure mi ha ugualmente delusa. Non so, mi aspettavo di più: al di là dello stile - molto semplice, e spesso ripetitivo - ci sono anche alcuni punti che mi hanno lasciato perplessa: ma come, incolpano Kasuma degli omicidi per almeno mezzo romanzo e poi, lo zio scopre in due-secondi-due la verità?
Sì, insomma, FORSE preferisco l'anime. Ma prima di esprimermi, preferisco leggere l'intera saga.

Stigma of the Wind or Kaze no Stigma was a very good anime .


It has magic , occult and spirit arts are split into elements such as fire, wind, earth, and water.
