I love the artwork in these books. It really does feel as if you are in a Lego World. In this story there is a bank robbery, and the police with the help of a few citizens, must catch the criminals. The illustrations are bright and vibrant. This is a great book in a great series.

The Leveled readers are great books for young children. There are hundreds of titles in these formats, even across different publishers. What makes this particular series, The Lego City Adventures, so good is that little boys will be attracted to them because of the format and styles of both the stories and artwork. They are bright colorful stories with fun illustrations. I can see young boys trying to make with Lego the scenes to act out from the books. As a Level 1 reader geared for Kindergarten to Grade 1, this book is intended to help with sight word recognition, sounding out simple words and sentences.

We're going through our collection of Step-1 or Level-1 readers with my now 7-year-old. He could probably advance to level-2 at this point, but I want to finish up the Level-1/Step-1 books that we have. He picked up Lego City: Calling All Cars. He played a Lego City game on the Switch so this book was right up his alley.

Lego City: Calling All Cars starts out with a bank robbery. The police are called and must solve the crime. Ultimately, they find the crooks but they still have to stop them. The good guys win in the end.

Lego City: Calling All Cars gets 3 Stars. It's fine. It's good. I liked the action aspect which is appealing to young boys. And Lego City being the setting when my son plays a Lego City game helps him to be interested in reading the book. Have you or your child read Lego City: Calling All Cars? What did you think? Let me know!

Cute, great for children who love Lego and are fairly confident in reading. The level they state I'd always ignore tbh.

a cute and basic book. it's too difficult for a level 1 reader to read, but the blends ov each page are short enough for a patent ti read to a kid. largely plot driven and very basic in presentation.

I recently purchased this book for my 6 year old son.

The bank just got robbed by 3 crooks and it is up to the police to find them and save the day. My son really enjoyed this book. Some of the illustrations go along with some of the lego kits he has. Easy, understandable text and great illustrations. A must own for the lego lover that is beginning to read.

This book was more realistic than I thought it would be. It has a bank robbery and how it would take place in real life but instead of people it is legos. This book is very eye catching because the images are vivid full of color. Its short and easy to read.

This is the quick and dirty story of a bank robbery perpetrated and dealt with by Legos. Fun, simple, with lots of action.

This is a 3 star book because it was a little hard to read. I got most of the words wrong, I got some of them right. It was a hard book for me to read, but I still liked it.
