Absolutely loved this book! As I was reading, I felt as if I was remembering things I had forgotten. It all rang very true for me and was inspiring and hopeful. It helped remind me that the most important thing is the love and kindness we show to others. We need more of that in the world. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

One of the best books I have ever read!

Though the book was small, the tone or wording simplistic, the story however is not. The more you read the more truth comes upon you. This premortal existence has not been anything I thought about yet alone believed. But, I believe Roy is a man of truth and honor. It comes across loud and clear. The book becomes difficult to put down as you get a couple chapters in. It keeps you up "contemplating " and praying long after you finish it!

Testimony in comments

I was having a rough time and have suicidal thoughts because of how rough my life has been. I asked God to speak to me and he gave me a dream of being in an auditorium (large one) and I didn’t want to be there . In the dream a man took me to the back and explained I had a mission and I was learning. Then a few weeks later I accidentally find this book and the man talks of the same auditorium. God is good . Hold on pain ends.

I don't usually write reviews. I mainly rate a book and move on. However, this book was so bad that I have to say something. It is a bunch of baloney! It is poorly written and inconsistent. No wonder the author could not find anyone willing to publish it. Don't waste your time with this one.

Remarkable!

Roy Mills has done an excellent job in shedding light on the fact that we lived before we came here. His story is in harmony, with other teachings that can be found in the writings of Emmanuel Swedenborg and a minority of Christian religions. Another thing he brings out is the love that emanates from God. This theme is also resoundingly made in many near death experiences. This book IS true, and we would all be well advised to take counsel and comfort that the father of us all worked with us in orchestrating each of our missions here in this mortality.

Wonderful... A joyful page-turner!

Rarely have I read a book that I couldn't put down from page one. This was one of those books. It verifies what I have already learned in life, and taught me things I had never before supposed. Fantastic!

It Gets Better

This is my second read through and it gets better. Trying to get this into the hands of more people. There is so much revelation to unpack from this book and so much to think about.

I have read several near death experiences but this is the first time I have heard of someone retaining memories from before they were born. Very interesting! I believe people can have these kinds of spiritual experiences, but specifically I am not sure what I believe about particular events. I do like the overall message here though. Not only is his actually life story fascinating, but I think he is spot on about some of our purposes in being here- especially all he says about love. Definitely different than other things I've read, but I enjoyed it.

This was out of my consideration at all, except for the fact that a woman I trusted on the internet recommended it. If the author hadn't been a Protestant and I believe a conservative Protestant at that, I would have forgotten the whole premise. The author details his experiences in Heaven as he gets ready to be born on earth. You'll just have to read it and decide for yourself. I liked hearing about Heaven and his life on earth as well.

Terrible book. I read it purely based on Betty J. Eaty's foreward and was completely disappointed. Terribly written and doesn't offer much insight--nothing more than I remember learning in Sunday school as a child.

A MUST READ FOR ANYONE!!! This man was allowed to remember our life before this one. He was not allowed to tell anyone until he was given permission. Meanwhile, his growing up years make an interesting tale. At age 40, he is given the permission to reveal his memories.......WOW!!

I highly recommend this book to anyone, especially those worried about whether God loves them and those concerned about life after death.
