Though this series, Animal Investigators, has already made a standard of never disappointing the reader- Killer Spiders is truly a stellar piece of the bunch, its shine reaching far beyond what the name would suggest.
Educational, relatable (yes, even by 2022 standards) and wildly entertaining, the story of our heroes Prof, Meriel, Ellis and a slew of fully fleshed out characters see to the undeniable pinnacle of Gates' worldbuilding in this series, as well as a giant spider attack! What could go wrong?
One thing I can say for sure, prepare to be ensnared!
