The French artist Yves Klein is probably one of my favorite contemporary artists. I like the performance aspect of his work - such as him wearing costumes, plus getting a group of naked girls roll around his beautiful shade of blue for his 'body' paintings. There is a mixture of slapstick humor as well as a spiritual overtone to the work. It works together like Laurel and Hardy. A perfect cocktail or mixture.
