I found this book at Goodwill or Value Village somewhat recently and snagged it. It looks like it's perhaps not the most easy to find book, so that's cool. I like it when my cheap finds end up being less-than-cheap online, even though I apparently don't have the wherewithal to sell such books and just keep them until I finally bring them back to the thrift store. I still have this one though!
I liked this little parable. I don't think I can sum the moral up easily. Basically, a dying fish begs for help and a variety of passers-by make excuses as to why they can't help. One of them blames the fish, another offers sympathy but not help, etc. Finally, the fish dies. But the people who had previously passed by assume that it had followed their advice and survived.
