Monkey Corner: Life on the Outside Looking in

Rate this book
Yeah, yeah. I know. If you read my book, you ll say it can t be true. That the characters and situations are made up, that they can t be real. But they are. Poor, disadvantaged, and under valued neighborhoods like Monkey Corner exist here and there; tucked into ignored corners of American life. You ll find them mainly in urban settings that are attached to big cities like Baltimore, Chicago, Boston and New York. Most people don t like them because they are the first stages of the evolutionary process. It s a matter of survival of the fittest. But good or bad, these areas teach skills that can take people to a life filled with adventures and achievements they never thought possible. My life s journey is an example. Rocky Romano
