Staying true to her goals of portraying strong women, her debut sports romance novel, Double Play, is both a baseball AND softball romance. It's the first in the Extra Innings series, which is now complete with four full-length novels and a prequel novella.
In 2025, AK is looking forward to diving into the world of women's basketball and men's football. The first book in the Fourth Quarter Fever series will be Home Town Advantage, coming on September 4, 2025.

So I guess it's that AK Landow cannot go wrong!!! Each book in this series has just gotten better and better. Regan and Carter❤️❤️❤️ fake dating, insane chemistry....ok i can't go beyond that. But holy hell!! Such a good one this is. And the banter oh the bloody banter between the family. Shit I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Don't miss out on all the sexcapades!!! Love this book!!!

At this point, I think there is no stopping AK Landow! Every book just keeps getting better. I was so waiting for Reagan's story and it did not disappoint. Reason and Carter are perfect together. The words "One-handed read" comes to mind 🥵. I love how strong and independent these women are and Reagon is such a badass boss. I didn't want it to end. I cannot wait for the next book 😍

I'm really loving this series. With each book, I get even more invested in this family and I love that it all takes place in the city I live in.
Each book focuses on a different couple but it's set in the same world of the two families. Every book is funny, has the close knit family that has no boundaries, and some very hot sex scenes.
This book features Reagan and Carter. Reagan started her own business that is growing very quickly. Carter is the president of a fortune 500 company run by his ceo father who is oddly obsessed with trying to buy or destroy Reagans business. Carter wants his father to retire so he can take over and run the business the way his grandfather, the founder of the company wanted. So he approaches Reagan with a plan to save her business while also making his father believe he's getting Carter to do what he wants, which is to get married and aquire Reagans business. They agree to a fake relationship, but if doesn't take long for the *fake* to start feeling real. Reagan just needs to figure out if she can trust Carter and risk losing more than her business, because now her heart is on the line.
Very good story, well written and easy to read. This book was kind of short, under 300 pages and I read it in about 3 hours. I was completely invested. I feel like the writing gets better with each book and I'm looking forward to reading more.

“One-Handed Read” comes time with this book
AK Landow when I thought the last three books were steamy and got me worked up. Book 4 Daulton had me HOTT & BOTHERED and had to change my pants 🥵🫠
Reagan’s story did not disappoint. HOLY HELL the chemistry between Reagan and Carter 🤌🏼🥵 AND the banter between these two and Reagan’s family is one of the best things about this book and then the spiciness in this book… WOW AK Landow DEFINITELY kicked up the spice in this one

Finally we get the playful wild sister of the Lawrence family - Reagan! She may be my favorite, though I do love the entire Lawrence-Knight crew. Such an independent, determined, selfless woman, it was wonderful to see her hold into her dreams & find her happily ever after. Carter Daulton may have had a much different upbringing than Reagan but despite the odds he became a great man & fits right in with the chaos of the family. Throughout this book you’ll see both of these characters grow, learn life lessons, and face hard truths. Cannot forget the anaconda because holy hell 🔥
You can always count on AK Landow to have you laughing out loud & panting from the steam all in the same book!

Aah I love a good 'fake love turns true' story. I fell in love with Reagan and Carter and wanted more and more. Loved the humour and can't wait for the next book.

Daulton...where do I start... well if you have read the first 3 books in the city of sisterly love series (which if you haven't why not?!!) you will have grasped the amazing banter amongst this blended family and their refreshing openness across all subjects. This is Reagan's story (middle sister) and she is the gorgeous fiery driven one who doesn't usually miss a trick. Carter walks into her life and everything changes for them both. What started as a fake relationship to save an unpleasant situation suddenly becomes a real one and it really is the making of both of them! The 'anaconda' ;) gets a back bone and reflects on his own family life and values as he is exposed to a really close genuine family and Reagan struggles with getting past the lie that really isn't a lie just a situation in the past not mentioned, along with lying to her family.
It contains exhibitionism, and a quality moment which is revealed at the end.... Fake dating, that we all got to love a bit of, Friends to lovers with a whole heap of spice thrown in!!
I really enjoy AK Landow's approach to strong women and how they can equally banter if not better than men in many respects and make them blush!
For me it has it all, banter, spice, humor and strong characters along with a great vibe!

Carter (age 34) is dealing with an abusive father and trying to fulfill the legacy of his grandfather.
Reagan Joy Lawrence (age 27) is smart, kind, giving, loving and stunningly beautiful. She’s also an intelligent and successful businesswoman. The connection started fake but soon turned real. Loved all the moments and scenes as they fall in love.
Steamy scenes started after midway point and does it get hot. I mean, Motorcycle sex 🥵🥵.
I love the Lawrence family and how open they are with each other. I feel so happy for Carter to join them and that final scene 🤣🤣

I ate this book up like it was my last meal. AK Landow is a soul-sucking succubus who draws you in with her stories and won't let you leave until you've read every last word. Her characters are inspired and hilarious, and her phraseology is second to none. Seriously, the way she digs into her characters and develops them into people you really and truly care about is phenomenal. I want to hang out with these people.
And I really, REALLY want to go to one of their family dinners. The Knight/Lawrence family is notorious for oversharing and inappropriate dinner table conversation, and I'm 100% down with that.
This book is a standalone that's part of a series, and I highly suggest you start at the beginning with Knight to get the entire dynamic of AK's stories. I honestly didn't think this author could top her previous work, but she proved me wrong with Daulton.
Some background: the FMC, Reagan, is sassy as hell and totally embraces her sexuality. She lost her father a few years back, and he's left letters that her mother gives to her on momentous occasions in her life. These letters make me bawl my eyes out every time. They're so beautiful and poignant, and I love how her dad KNOWS his daughter so well. Her drive, her personality, her wild nature. He wants her to be with a man that encourages her in every aspect of her life instead of trying to hold her down or tame her.
Enter Carter Daulton. Besides being hot as sin, this man has no desire to squash Reagan's outgoing personality. He's a damn good man, and he loves her for who she is.
I've read a lot of fake-dating books, but this one was next level. It wasn't "let's fake date - oh, now we're in love." No, there was DEVELOPMENT, and it was a beautiful thing.
This author's sense of humor is right up my alley. I laughed so hard while reading this book, my husband thought I was crazy. Like literally laughing out loud with tears running down my face. The dialogue is funny and so well-written.
And can we just talk about the spice for a minute? Oh, holy hell! This book was so hot I thought I was going to have to pack myself in ice while reading. AK Landow knows how to make her smexy scenes just pop off the page. (Not literally, but that would be cool, right?) The first time Reagan meets "the anaconda" - yeah, I read that scene so many times, I'm embarrassed to even admit it.
So, don't pass go, don't collect two-hundred dollars, just go directly to Amazon and GET THIS BOOK!

Oh AK Landow... you know how to make a girl laugh, swoon, blush, and cry all at once. I've been waiting for Reagan's story since the very first book in this series, because you have written her as a fierce, outspoken, hilarious, smart, capable, beautiful, courageous, feisty, amazing person - and how can one not gravitate to someone like her? I've been so looking forward to reading who you would pair her with, and... let me collect myself... Carson Daulton is... wow. Just wow. Words can't begin to describe... In all of my wildest dreams I couldn't have dreamt of a better and sexier match for Reagan than this character you made. Can we just say H-O-T?!?! I'm still fanning myself off. He's giving Brody a run for his money, that's for sure - and that's saying A LOT, too!
This is the fourth book in the City of Sisterly Love series, all of which I have looooved! The world AK has created is amazing and interesting, but her band of characters is what takes center stage in these books, and Daulton is no exception. If anything, by this fourth book, we are so invested in the characters and their relationships and camaraderie that we are just craving so much, much more! Give me more, please! I need so much more. And the humor - OMG the humor and jokes that comes out of the characters' mouths - it is witty and hilarious! So those are two of my three favorite things about AK's writing: the characters and their relationships and the humor in the books. The third, you ask? Well it is the steamy romance, of course. AK has a special kind of vocabulary and special sauce that she uses when it comes to her characters' attraction and romance and sexy scenes, and it is more than HOT! It is steamy, it is provocative, is is eyebrow-rising, it is blush-inducing, and it is definitely something new to try out! Nothing cookie-cutter to find there.
Now Reagan and Carter... words to describe my thoughts and feelings will in no way do these characters justice. How I described Reagan above from my impressions of her from previous books were just further solidified in this book - she is amazing! And then along comes Carter... hubba-hubba!!! Can I place an order for one of him? What I love about these two is their honesty of character.. despite the non-honesty that's involved in a plot like this book. They are, at their core, such honest and true to themselves people, and that really resonated with me. I truly loved that about them as characters. They are honest, kind, hardworking, and all around amazing people. Sexy AF and so attractive, too. Their whole HEA is interesting, but once they get together - holy moly. Combustable energy. I was completely riveted.
Now, I must take a moment and give a special nod to one character, Scott Lawrence. I just love how AK involves him in every book. His note had me bawling my eyes out in "Cass" but in this book - the message and life-lessons that he's passing onto his daughters is inspirational and so important. I so respect the man, the legend that is Scott Lawrence! Thank you AK for making such an incredible character and I hope that this actual, real world has more people in like Scott Lawrence.
It is hard to discuss Daulton too much without giving pieces of it away - all I'll say is if you're interested in an incredible group of characters that display a sincerity of honesty and humor, and some hot-hot-hot romance that is not your run-of-the-mill type... this book - this entire series - is for you! Five stars all the way - the writing, the characters, the story, the romance... top notch! I cannot wait for more books in the City of Sisterly Love series!

Daulton by AK Landow is one of the best books you will ever read. If you enjoyed Knight, Dr. Harley, and Cass you will enjoy Daulton. I truly believed nothing can top Cass but Daulton kicked it out of the park.
The storyline was amazing 🤩, the banter between the characters was hilarious 😂. Not only will Daulton have you laughing 😂, crying 😭 and getting mad 😡 but you will also feel the love between them. And let’s not get started on the spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️.
AK Landow did an amazing job writing this book and telling the story between Regan and Carter. Daulton will definitely get your panties wet with the amount of sex scenes and dirty talking Daulton provides. 🥵🥵

Reagan is working hard to make her company a success but Daulton Holdings keeps on making it harder for her. Carter is trying to do everything he can to get his ass of a father to retire so he can become CEO of Daulton Holdings. He wants to restore the it to the ethical company his grandfather started it as. After trying many ways to appease his father Carter comes up with the idea to fake date Reagan in order to trick his father into retirement. Reagan agreed to go along with it in order to make Carter’s father leave her company alone.
Reagan is so bold and confident, I absolutely loved it. I did think Carter was a bit spineless but he did have his reasons. I absolutely loved how Reagan called Carter on his faults. I also loved how she didn’t let him off easily, she made him work for her because she knows her value. Reagan really did help Carter become a better person. Even though Carter is complaisant with us father, he is confident and demanding in the bedroom. AK Landow killed it with the chemistry between this couple once again. I mean the motorcycle scene 🔥. I mean every 🌶 scene was absolutely amazing. Not only was this books spicy like the others is the series but it was also just as hilarious.
Daulton is the 4th book in the City of Sisterly Love series. I do highly recommend you read the series in order. Even though each book is about a different couple I think it would be hard to understand some of the dynamics between Reagan and her family. Besides the whole series is good.

Somehow the books in this series just keep getting better and better! I don’t want this series to end, I feel like I’m apart of this family at this point.
DAULTON follows Reagan one of the three daughters of Darian (the main character in book one in the series) and Carter the son of her arch nemesis that is trying to take down her business.
Reagan and Carter start a fake relationship to take down his father. We love a good fake dating story 😉 Which slowly turns into something more… but will the relationship survive it all? You’ll have to pick it up to find out!
This story is funny, sexy, heart-warming, and much more. It includes all our favorite characters from book 1-3 in this series and welcomes a newcomer to the crazy family.
OMG THE ENDING… I cackled. That was perfection.

Carter dresses in a delivery outfit to try and see why his dad was hard on for this company. When he gets in the shop he can't believe how beautiful she is but when he sees that she is pregnant he leaves the shop.
Four months later Carter comes into the shop to speak to her, as Carter’s dad as told him he he need to settle down and to get tictoc trendy for peanuts, so he goes to Daulton to make a deal as any one that does not like his dad is going to be a good company for him,
Daulton does not really know what to say when Carter comes to her with a plan to help get Carter's dad of her back and to help him with what he need for his dad to retire, at first she says no but then yes after talking to Jackson,
Daulton can not stand Carter's dad because of the way he looks at her and talks to her.
Everything seems to be going OK until Carter does not stick to the rules she's put in place so it all goes downhill and after some secrets come out and Daulton says some things that hurt Carter can they work it out together.
Four months later Carter comes into the shop to speak to her, as Carter’s dad as told him he he need to settle down and to get tictoc trendy for peanuts, so he goes to Daulton to make a deal as any one that does not like his dad is going to be a good company for him,
Daulton does not really know what to say when Carter comes to her with a plan to help get Carter's dad of her back and to help him with what he need for his dad to retire, at first she says no but then yes after talking to Jackson,
Daulton can not stand Carter's dad because of the way he looks at her and talks to her.
Everything seems to be going OK until Carter does not stick to the rules she's put in place so it all goes downhill and after some secrets come out and Daulton says some things that hurt Carter can they work it out together.

Daulton is the 4th book in this amazing series The City of Sisterly Love and believe me when I say it as it all from a fake engagement to an enemies to lovers to an happy ever after........ oh and I nearly forgot the exhibitionism and a anaconda🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love Reagan and Carter their chemistry is off the chart and there story pulls you in and keeps you gripped from start to finish and boy do they finish on a high. I think each of these books are so good and I don't think I can pick my favourite as the whole series is just so good.
I love this families banter it's brilliant and there openness is refreshing and so bloody funny. But every single book as made me cry more then once and pulls you in so you feel all the emotions I just love that about them.
You wouldn't believe that this only AK Landow's 4th book they are just so good.
I would highly recommend this series it's so good and every book is worth of more than ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ without a boubt.
I cannot wait for the 5th book in this series but I'm also sad because I don't want it to come to an end. 😪

I've read all of the books in this series. I truled loved each and every one of them. I honestly feel like I'm a member of this fantastic family (I wish I was). This book takes it to a whole other level though. I've loved Reagan through the earlier books, and I was so happy to hear she'd be getting her own book. Not only did AK Landow not disappoint, she blew away my expectations. This is an incredible book. It's one of the funniest I've ever read in my life (I belly laughed so many times), it's got AK Landow's trademark pull at the heartstrings, and she somehow took the spice up a notch (I didn't know another notch existed after Cass).
It's a thoughful story. Not only is it a Rom-Com, but it deal with some real world social issues (as do all of her books).
I loved Carter and Reagan's journey. Bravo! Great book!
Shocked to hear who Book 5 will follow (I won't spoil it). I'm excited for this unexpected turn. I can't wait for it to come out.

I am just blown away AK Landows books just get better and better and I adored Reagan and Carter's story . Regan is such an amazing FMC she is so fiesty and strong and I totally loved her. I love how we catch up with all the characters from previous books .The family dinner scenes had me laughing out loud. I really wanna be part of that family the inappropriate chat is soo funny.
Carter is some guy,hot as sin but his life was soo different from Reagans. I will not spoil this . I adored the actual storyline here , strip this book back and the bare storyline has to be one of my favourites. Add the spice and mix of all the chatacters made this story is just perfect. so if you love low angst, spicy as sin , laugh out loud love stories. YOU WILL LOVE THIS .I can't wait for more from this incredibly talent author!!

OMG Daulton was so good! The chemistry between Reagan and Carter is 👨🍳 💋 🤌 perfection! I loved how it wasn't just the physical either, they grew such a solid connection with each other. The twists were great too.
Carter comes to Reagan with a proposition, they fake date than get engaged and his father will retire leaving Carter with the family company his grandfather started. For Reagan Carter's father will leave her company alone and stop trying to steal it. Things don't always pan out the way they plan and the two grow feelings for each other. Some pretty downright funny shenanigans add into the mix. Top it off with some voyeurism and it was just amazing!

I honestly thought Trevor (Secretariat) was going to be my all time favorite, but then Carter Daulton came along & stole my dang heart! This man is such husband material & very much blessed in all the right areas! Of course Reagan is obsessed with this man especially after she gets a dose of it. Now Carters father Thomas had me so disgusted, I was so ready for his life to fall apart & the truth to come out. I love the Reagan’s family & how they are so close, it’s everything you want with a family. Now these dang spice scenes had me fanning myself & rereading multiple parts! Motorcycles are definitely a favorite of mine! That ending had me gasping in shock!!! I absolutely loved this book! AK Landow always does amazing job! Can’t wait to see what’s next!

Umm, when I tell you that this is legitimately the funniest book I’ve ever read in my life, I’m not exaggerating. This is the gold standard in RomComs. I’m at a loss for words right now. This book was the full package. It was well-written, with lovable, well-developed characters. I obviously laughed, but I cried and felt too. And the spice… oh my. I’m blushing.
I honestly laughed so loud that I think I pulled a muscle in my stomach. My husband kept looking at me like I was crazy.
I read the first three books in the series months ago. I recommend doing that first. You won’t regret the journey. The family is amazing. I want to be friends with them. What a truly fantastic series. I hope it catches fire on social media. It deserves it. I can’t wait for the next!

I just don’t know where to start. Once again @aklandow_author, you have created the perfect masterpiece. I felt something really different in this book, I felt so much empathy for Carter. The emotions were different in book 4, but there is so much explosive spice 🥵, but I think the whole relationship between Carter & Reagan was a lot different to all her sisters & Aunt Cass. I adore how down to earth the family are, the women’s strength is phenomenal. I really really love this family.
There is friendship, love, humour 🐍, and so much more.
This book is just incredible, and I will never ever get bored of this series.
Roll on next year, for your new book, can’t wait.

Loved loved loved this beautiful story. Reagan and Carter are such a beautiful couple. I love how Raegan is an independent powerful woman and Carter accepts and loves that about her. It isnt always easy for them but their passion for each other never fails. Hot and spicy! 🔥
I really enjoyed how throughout the book it explained about Carters relationship with his parents and how his relationship blossomed with Raegans family.

This is book four in the City of Sisterly Love and would highly recommend you read the others prior to this one.
Carter and Reagan have been raised by completely different upbringings where Reagan had an over abundance of love and support Carter was treated by his dad like a second thought. Another fantastic installment in the City of Sisterly Love series! I was so excited to read Reagans story because as the wild child, I knew hers would be epic - and it definitely was. Carter is positively amazing - I'm so glad he found Reagan and her ever growing family. He deserves happiness!

Out of this entire, wonderful series, Daulton is by far my favorite! Everything about this book was amazing. From Reagan being such a strong, independent woman, to Carter being the absolute perfect man, to the amazing spicy scenes, down to the amazingly perfect ending! I’ll never be over how warm the entire family makes me feel, even through reading it on pages. I loved every second, and Daulton will absolutely be a reread for me in the future!

This book!!! You can read as a stand alone… OR with the books that are related to it. I did not want to put it down. It is a funny, and intriguing fake relationship storyline. The characters are so well written. Don’t make plans when you start this… they may get blown off so you can just keep reading “one more chapter”!!! This is a definite TBR for everyone! Absolutely loved it and can’t say enough about it!

Oh. My. Goodness. This was an amazing read. This story may have been 24 chapters but it was jammed back of an amazing writing flow, mouth-watering plot and a pretty damn decent writing style. Which are all things I love and make a damn good read. This book was a no holds barred type of book and I loved every page. I read it in six hours, would have been less if I didn't have to work it was that good you need to read it. And I need to go read book 1-3!
