This is a well-written book that briefly covers the history of acupressure, the meridians for dogs and includes a section of treatments for specific issues, e.g. aggression, urinary problems.

This is definitely a good book to read before you start messing around with your dogs' chi. The meridian for fear, for example, is not the meridian that is worked for a fearful dog.

These treatments are not quick and easy, attention and time are needed for each session. But discovering certain relaxation points that can be utilized in stressful situations was very helpful.

I gave the book a higher rating because it DOES explain the complexity of treating your pet instead of taking the easy route of dumbing-down the information.

I read this for the acupressure class I'm taking this weekend. It's pretty complicated. I don't know if I'll ever understand Chinese medicine. And.....my constant refrain....don't forget the importance of a good editor! You should've hired one.
