This is THE handbook on partnership. He gives the whys and the hows.

A practical roadmap of the steps to go through to develop a partnership, the kinds of people and meetings and commitments that are needed to make it happen, and the outcomes that can be achieved, defining how those differentiate partnerships from networks.

TONS of case studies and practical lessons.

Another self-important book by a CEO who trumpets his (late) discovery of universal truths, in this case, the power of partnerships. He advises his readers that if they don't like the first chapter, they won't like the book. Thanks for the warning, Phill. After reading chapter 1 and the first appendix, I knew I didn't have to read the rest of the book.

This is the gold standard of works on how to approach building partnerships and networks, and happily speaks within the context of building on the kingdom of God.

It starts slow with definitions and apologetic arguments for why partnerships are important, which are important and useful but cause impatience in those who already see their value.

On page 121 the pace picks up with highly practical descriptions of process - a step by step how to guide from a recognized mater of partnership formation.

I especially appreciated the description of the role of Partnership Facilitator in chapter 14.

Toward the end, the final chapters feel like scattered loose ends, but there're still nuggets to mine

I'm happy to have the digital version of Well Connected on my mobile devices because I'm sure to need it as a reference tool and will refer back to it often.
