Thirteen short stories. Very short...but more impressive for the brevity. Mr. Allen packs more feeling, more humor into his writing than most authors I have read. There's a sincerity behind the silliness, and an authenticity in his language. I felt respect for the reader--that the author was counting on a sense of humor and imagination. A joy to read.

Oh, I almost forgot: I LOVE the way technology is depicted in the stories. As a career techie, the presence of tech is usually a deal breaker for me.
