Louise’s daughter is visiting with a friend to work on a book and attend a writers conference, Jane goes along to learn about writing a cookbook. Jane gets together with a woman who is making a cookbook to help out a meals on wheels. The newspaper plans a writing contest and is over run with entries, one is an old diary that Louise’s daughter would like to publish if the author will revel themselves. Alice starts a project with her middle school angel that will help kids and adults.

DNF... it was a rly slow book.... I am just not as interested in this series.... the other books are also slow but I was at least able to finish them....

This is my favorite series to read. Faith, family and friends are the cornerstones of each book. Acorn Hill is the place you want to be. The plot centers on a writer's conference that starts the wheel rolling for several projects. The three sisters are involved in three different projects with the same theme. The mystery of this one is the unknown author a diary submitted to the local newspaper for a contest.
I like to keep my reviews short. I want you to read it for yourself. You will be glad you did.

This was an interesting story, but the mystery of who the anonymous diary author was didn’t really grab my interest and hold it well. It was ok, and I would probably read others in the series. They aren’t long.

A very nice entry in this wonderful series about 3 sisters who reunite after the death of their father and turn their old Victorian home into a B&B. This book was all about books & writing. The local paper sponsors a writing contest and Louise becomes instrumental in screening the entries. Jane pursues a dream of writing a cookbook by attending a writer's conference where she meets a kindred spirit and they join up for a literary project. Alice's group of ANGELs decide to help out a library in need with book donations as well as interacting with a senior center.

A delightful book with a wonderful Christian message.

Yeah, my first book read of 2016.

I love these. This one was no different... and an apropos title for the first reading book of 2016. Jane is helping a friend compile a cookbook with recipes from famous chefs and notables in Philadelphia to raise money for a charity, Louise and a bunch of other Acorn Hill residents are involved in a writing contest and there is a mystery memoir that they love but don't know who the author is I (the answer is lovely and surprising) and Alice is helping her "ANGELS" do a new project where they read to some Seniors and have a few adventures with that.

Wonderful start to my reading, which is why I chose to read this first, and it was a Christmas present. It was the next book on my list to read for Tales from Grace Chapel Inn and the library did not have a copy... so my hubby bought it for me.

Next to read is a BRAND NEW Thomas Locke book... Merchant of Alyss. I am reviewing it for him, on my blog, here and elsewhere.
