Well, I checked this book out because of the beautiful lone star right on the cover, hoping for a nice pattern or instructions. But as I should have gathered from the title, this author is VERY concerned with precision, accuracy, and getting absolutely everything perfect. Frankly, she sounds like no fun at all! I'm all for trying to be as accurate as I can, and I'm not above ripping seams out where necessary, but her insistence on precision seemed to overlook all the pleasure in quilting. And her stern tone was very off-putting. Anyway, she is obviously an accomplished quilter who does exquisite work, but I think I'll look elsewhere for my lone star instructions!
