Let's start by saying that this is a book about Queen Luise of Prussia, A woman I greatly admmire and have been for basically my entire life. Since I was named(though only my middle name)after her and I go to a school founded in her honor and have been going to that school since first grade after my grandfather was the headmaster of that school the previous 11 years. So I knew a lot about the queen before going into it and to be honest I did not find out too much new stuff. But I was anticipating that because even being the queen of Prussia 34 years can not pack that much to write about. The reason this gets a 3 star rating is because it focussed too much on her husband at times and it was lacking in "her need for girl education" department, which I am very passionate about.

Aus verschiedenen Gründen bin ich sehr interessiert an Königin Luise und nachdem ich das Buch 2011 geschenkt bekommen habe bin ich jetzt endlich dazu gekommen es zu lesen. Da ich bereits viel über sie gelesen, gesehen und gelernt habe, hat dieses Buch nicht allzu viel Neues über sie aufgedeckt. Ich gebe dem Buch 3 Sterne, da es teilweise mehr auf Friedrich Wilhelm III. konzentriert war und bestimmte Teile ihres Lebens nur sehr kurz erwähnt hat, die für mich die Faszination an ihr ausmachen.
