There is a widespread hunger for something more among young Bible-believing Christians today. Could it be that the "more" they are seeking is closer than they think- the lost writings of the great Christians of days gone by? Anyone who will examine the evidence for themselves will find that the men and women who started many of our Bible-believing denominations, schools, and ministry organizations had a radically different approach to the Christian life ... and they saw the heavens open. There Must Be Lost Keys to the Christian Life introduces several exciting aspects of Christian discipleship which used to be commonplace. Old Schoolers like Andrew Murray, George Muller, D.L. Moody, and Oswald Chambers believed that their prayers really moved the hand of God. They believed that the supernatural power the apostles knew was still available in their time. This book focuses on discipleship principles that have been lost and forgotten in many quarters, principles that will add a supernatural dimension to the life of those who are hungry for more.
Such a sweet book! Tad is my pastor, so I’ve gotten to hear a lot of the truths in this through his teachings, but this was such a wonderful and helpful book the read through! Truly gives good, honest, impactful, foundational truths about faith! Thankful for Tad’s deep, deep love for Christ that’s so evident in this book!
Powerful read. Tad gets to the heart of it - the mature Christian is serious about pursuing God in the word, repenting of sin, believing in the power of the Spirit. Half hearted Christianity is weak and ineffective and a far cry from the Spirit filled life believers are clearly called to have in Christ. Read the Bible and supplement your study with the writings of dead guys (the "Old Schoolers" - early church leaders, Reformation thinkers, revival leaders - who had a fire and faithfulness rarely seen among the modern living Christian leaders). This will be a book I recommend and gift to earnest men seeking to be like Jesus.
